I don’t even think Super’s that profitable. Super has brought in new customers as it’s current. Z seems to be where the money is, hence why they’re doing literally every character (and why we shouldn’t be so sad about these offshoot lines). GT has a lot of cool designs and has the nostalgia factor in the west og DB doesn’t necessarily have. Anyway, releases you don’t care about aren’t a good reason to be so negative. Enjoy the time off from the line and save a bit of money. My wallet enjoyed a good couple of years without a DB figure purchase until the GT figs came along. Now I’m all the more happy they’re making them.

I disliked how Super seemed to prioritize “thin-ness” over muscles; early DBZ characters looked powerful & intimidating as hell, cut to DBS and Super Saiyan God has Goku looking slimmer, Beerus looks like skin & bones, Whis has an even thinner physique but is still stronger, everyone looks too “clean,” etc. It was a breath of fresh air to see how ripped Jiren was, like a throwback to the OG 90’s era, like finally lol. I’m rambling now but that’s just how I feel.
Anyway, question of the day, is Moro anyone’s favorite villain? I don’t see any discussion on him anymore, no desire to see him as an SHF, he just kinda came & went. Which is a shame because I feel he had potential with his magical abilities & hacks.

Even more when Top goes mad god of destruction mode. In manga it was kinda softer? But with Moro I felt almost as good as on DBZ sagas, but it ended too quickly  |

On the fence about getting Pan. Weird that we’re getting her before Videl or adult Chi Chi, which would be instant buys for me.
Unrelated but another thought I recently had was I wish the version of Jiren they chose for this upcoming SDCC was the powered down one. I passed up on the original and he would look cool with pearlescent paint. Anyone planning to buy any of the SDCC releases this year?

I don’t think I’m going to. Like I mentioned previously I own my own “version” of the Goku with chibi Gohan & Nimbus, own both Jirens so I don’t need a third & that Trunks paint job doesn’t look appealing to me at all.

Cool! I spotted decent deals on 2 Super figures I had my eyes on: Kefla and Hit, so might be grabbing those when I preorder Pan!
Piccolo -Super Hero- came in. Man he's even more detailed than Proud Namekian. I wonder if the cape from the latter fits out of curiosity~

I may be wrong since I only own the Super Hero Piccolo so I can't test myself but I believe it does ^ ^
Super Hero Piccolo is still kind of a crazy release to me, like he's fairly detailed and complex for a budget retail figure I like him a lot lol ^^

Haiiiiiiiii im goin to the new bandai namco store at American Dream tmrw
Any of yall going and wanna meet up? Are there any new or returning figures I should keep an eye out? I don't even know if there's gonna be much of a grand opening crowd or not I'm just kinda excited to see what kinda stuff they'll be stocking here. I still haven't caught up on the last like, year's worth of figures.
Are figure *trades* still a thing? Should I maybe bring a couple I wanna get rid of with me?

Also, what's all this I see about a revival of the OG DB figs?? Also also, I've been wondering - I noticed around the time that the new Trunks was revealed that the old Trunks popped up all over Ebay. Same with the new Tien about a year or two back. Do the old figures still retain any of their collector value after that initial wave of people looking to "replace" them, or is it pretty much an obsolete shelfwarmer now? I have an armored Trunks I got for 15 bucks from BBTS when I first started collecting and remember seeing it go for upwards of 90 bucks on Ebay last year.

So I just preordered Pan  But I diverted from what I wanted to do (Hit and Kefla) Hit was 200bucks and I somehow missed it. So I unwatched him. I'm gonna keep the Kefla listing, but I preordered another King Cold from a Japanese seller JUST IN CASE the French seller doesn't come through. I'm that desperate. lol |

dalegubbermenti like dale he's my fav character from hank of the hill :33333 Idk how it looked online, but it was a lot smaller than I expected, yet also had a wider variety of stock than I expected. Pretty fun just looking around at all the Pokemon and Gundam stuff! There's also a store dedicated to Nanoblock just across from it. tabuuforteakugunYEESH i can't imagine myself paying anything more than 100 for Hit x-x I actually find myself regretting not picking him up, too, tho. Hoping I can find someone selling it for cheap on Facebook Marketplace or a yard sale someday
