A saiyan pod and great ape Goku would be instant buys for me. They really need to do at least one adult Chi Chi figure too!
I also really hope when/if they get back on Buu saga we get an upgraded battle damaged Majin Vegeta.

I think the issue ultimately is that the OG Dragon Ball line, didn't sell very well. I think Kid Goku did fine and Roshi is clearly in demand but, you can blame poor choices, poor scaling, the fact they were all retail and not p-bandai or, whatever but a lot of the figures just didn't sell. King Piccolo and Tao Pai Pai (who I think were pretty obvious choices), rotted on shelves, I got my tao on clearance for like $30, you can still find them on some sites (BBTS still has King Piccolo). Kid Chi-Chi and Jackie Chun ended up being pretty poor choices that also didn't really do great. I think Launch was meant to kinda be a last ditch for the DB line, a popular, obvious character that would hopefully appeal to some of the Z and beyond collectors when most of the DB line didn't to increase sales, and I don't think she did as well as they'd hoped. Yeah, you can blame poor choices like 2 Bulmas or not doing Bandit Yamcha and 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai Goku and Chi Chi sooner. But ultimately, the figures weren't selling. I like the DB line, I want more, but I get why they haven't done more, these things are made to make money ultimately, and a lot of the DB stuff isn't even worth much on the aftermarket (Roshi is the big exception) when retail figures from around the same time like say DBS Broly or Super Buu or even newer like SSJ4 Goku shoot up in price even with rereleases. There just isn't that much demand, I think that's why they slowed the Super releases since those were hitting diminishing returns too, it'll probably happen with GT eventually. I think that's also why they've held off on some of the obvious sellers like they have, they need an updated Perfect Cell or a Kid Buu or an SSJ4 Gogeta once in a while to inject some interest It sucks but, it's all business at the end of the day yeeep this.... honestly i wouldnt mind if they reboot the whole DB line, GT kid goku is something decent to go by in scale |

we never have a DB fever. we did have it though, it started with kid Goku and lasted til Launch, with a total of 10 figures + some event exclusives. But I'm not trying to change your mind, just giving facts of what happened haha not gonna participed on this kind of talk anymore. Why are you taking things so badly ? I don't see what's wrong with discussing about that 
Yes, a few figures have been released, but on something like 3 years.
What i call a "fever" here is having like 3 or 4 figures on 4 or 5 months, like GT has right now or the DBS SH movie 2 years ago.

Badly? How? I only pointed out the survey thing and that we had like 10 DB figures + event exclusives haha I just dont want to keep discussing something we did several times, is just got old for me. edit. For a little insight, I have been collecting figures of this line since I first bought the first Krillin (2013) and I think is very evident how much I have advocated for female characters on this line, not only in this forum but everywhere, I have been asking for a Bulma figuarts since that year which it was an impossible thing to happen back then (and pretty much everyone except some people would call you crazy for that), I'm used to be patient, having a break (or cancellation if you prefer) of DB era is just a tiny thing compared to that  they are doing Cui ffs seriously anything can happen lol |

Of course, surprises can happen sometimes, but that example prooves it.
But i'm still not confident for the DB line because i've also been collecting action figures for a while now, and i don't remember having seen lines being on a break and coming back several years after.
Cui is from Namek, a line that Bandai loves, that's the difference to me.
I'm not sure what answer you're expecting, but I'm not holding out hope that you'll find it. good luck, friend

I don't think they'll ever give up fully on the original DB line.. Its such an important part of the franchise for a lot of fans. Tamashii are probably content with what they've pumped out so far. They've covered a lot of the heavy hitters of the original series. Only really missing Yamcha.
There's no denying it doesn't sell as well as Z. Every single figure in the original line has been slashed in price apart from Goku and Roshi. You can't give the other ones away. Most fans probably prefer z to the original series though. Z/Super and GT are probably just more profitable.

To be honest, Tamashii is probably gauging whether or not it would be profitable to release a new DB Kid Goku that is the size of the DBGT one, based on the demand (sales) for the DBGT Kid Goku. If they decide to do that, they will likely release a DB Yamcha then. It would give them the opportunity to release pink dress Bulma a second time, probably with an Oolong as an accessory. It's hard to have a DB collection without Kid Goku, Yamcha, Puar, Bulma, and Oolong. They are the most important characters to that first saga of DB.  |

I could see that. They actually are rereleasing pink dress Bulma. Not like updated in anyway but like I've seen preorders on the sites I go to a lot like BBTS, didn't they release like, some sort of new version of the existing Kid Goku with some new parts last year too?
I could definetly see them trying to gauge interest, I feel like if they stuck to like, the Gokus and Bulmas being retail and did the rest on P-Bandai, kinda like they've been doing with GT where only Goku and the SSJ4s have been retail, the line would probably do better a second time around, it'd dodge the issue of them not selling as well at retail
An updated Kid Goku releasing at retail with like, Bandit Yamcha and a couple other P-Bandai figures in the months following like they've done with GT could kick some new life/interest into the line
