This opportunity to get SS Future Trunks (for those who missed him) is good, though this paint job... woof. Looks like he's wearing patent leather pants and jacket. I feel like a lot of people will skip getting Trunks and Jiren. The Goku with flying nimbus and toddler Gohan is very nice though...! I hate being perfectionistic sometimes, but looking at Gohan and his big head, I would hate to be Chichi giving birth to that noggin. I'll never really understand why Tamashii (and a lot of other DB property owners) insist on making child heads bigger than adult heads. Children in DB do typically have bigger cheeks than adults (espeically in DB, but not as much in DBZ, DBGT, or DBS), but their heads don't shrink as they get older. It's hard to avoid even with my custom figures, unless I want to sculpt every head from scratch (and I don't). But Gohan's head shouldn't be bigger than his father's.    couldnt have said it better with the big head, good thing the new gt goku is a step towards the right direction. he doesnt look weird next to GT trunks. |

Preordered Pan on hobby genki. I hope they take a break from GT for a bit now. 3 in 3 months is maybe a little much for my usually conservative wallet.
Thinking about who they could do next, they will do Baby, Omega Shenron and Gogeta at a minimum. I’d love if we got some of the less important characters and looks though. I’m thinking base/super saiyan Vegeta, Goten, Uub. I’d pretty much like everyone they did in the Super Battle Collection in SHF form.

So how long will it take til we get her mom and grandma in their prime looks?   Videl is a given once they start with Buu saga, the question is which look is going to be first, pigtails Videl is the most popular and seeing past marketing strategies with Bulma and Pan it seems they prefer to start with a less popular choice (manga cover Bulma and Super Pan) instead of the more popular ones (pink dress Bulma, GT Pan). I would say it's the same for Chi-Chi (starting with kid Chi-Chi first) but they totally dropped classic DB for the moment. I want all three but I think they would start with short hair Videl to create hype and then do pigtails Videl. Great Saiyaman 2 is a long shot for the moment but is a cool pretext to pose with Great Saiyaman (maybe a future SDCC release?) It's been a while since I looked in the surveys but classic DB is still there, so there is still a chance they return to that hopefully. |

My hopes for the Boo Saga are very low at this point, yeah they’ve been sprinkling in some characters over the years (Fat Buu, Gotenks, Great Saiyaman, etc.) but they never truly committed to it since there’s still a lot more they skipped. They even teased Videl a while back in one of Tamashii’s streams, but I don’t know what happened because we haven’t heard from it since. Chichi is anyone’s guess. I think with the issue with Buu Saga and why it's been lacking in releases so far is that the last time they released anything for it (outside rereleases/event exclusives) was before the line really started branching out. I think the Ginyu Force and Raditz (some of the first P-Bandai exclusives outside Japan) were a major turning point for the line. I think before them the most "obscure" or "minor" character released was like, Android 16 which, yeah not exactly digging very deep lol, after that is when we started getting to the point we're at now. Raditz and the Ginyus didn't release till like, 2019/2020, and the last time they did Buu Saga releases was before that, so they only kinda did the barest essentials, only one Gotenks, Majin Vegeta and SSJ3 Goku, etc. I'm guessing they didn't do Kid Buu since they didn't think stores would want 3 kinda similar figures on the shelves at the time since they couldn't sell anything as P-Bandai exclusives outside japan back then.
Now we get WAY more stuff than we used to but, I mean god they've only just gotten done with Namek? I think? At this point I wouldn't be surprised if they were like "hey here's Nail and Vegeta but his outfit is darker and doesn't have shoulder pads and another Freeza somehow"
I imagine they'll do more Buu saga stuff after they finally start wrapping up Cell saga stuff, but at this point that's probably not gonna be till like 2026, at least?
I kinda just hope they do the inevitable Semi Perfect Cell, new Perfect Cell, and new SSJ2 Gohan and start getting to the Buu saga stuff
Kinda wish they varied up releases more instead of trying to "follow" the sagas like they've done
Videl, Goten and Trunks, SSJ3 Gotenks, and Kid Buu are probably the stuff I want from the saga most at this point lol
Rambling but like, yeah it makes sense to me why we haven't gotten much Buu Saga stuff, the way they've been releasing things there was never really a "time" for it
But I wish they'd get to it lol
(also really want 23rd Chi Chi still I really wish the og Dragon Ball line didn't die before we got her)

For anyone still looking to add the Gammas (or the gohan accessories) to their collection, I was able to get gamma 2 from pt.eyou-collection.com/ for retail price, with free shipping (10 days from order being placed). Gamma 2 just arrived today, in perfect condition - it was still in the bandai shipper box. This is a good way to get these figures new, and for retail price (many places I looked were asking over 100$) |

Cui, GT protagonist trio and Super 17 come to my mind for example. Surveys have always been a good indication of future figures since they started years ago with surveys atSDCC, its not 100% chance but I would say 80% |
