I think Jakks made a Super 17, but man have the figure-makers improved over the years.
S.H. Figuarts King Cold, for instance, makes the Jakks version look like a cheap piece of crap. And I loved that figure lol

I loved that figure too, I remember how excited I was to see King Cold finally getting a figure and I loved it that he had interchangeable hands too. Yeah It's dated now but the Jakks pacific King Cold was great for It's time and I would argue was probably one of Jakks's best figures for the time even though we were starting to get much nicer anime figures from Figma and Revoltech that's probably not a fair comparison though since they're high end. Those old Haruhi Suzumiya Figmas still hold up in my opinion but I digress. It will be funny if King Cold ends up being the best S.H. Figuarts figure. Tamashii is really good at making the tall characters I've noticed. Cooler and Second form Frieza turned out to be amazing figures and a lot of peoples favorites but I won't be surprised if their Dad tops them.

I was 11 going on 12. Knowing he had a Jakks figure LATER was a nightmare. He's hard to get and expensive. But when I scored mine my inner kid was uncontrollably excited! I'm reliving that with the SHF because he was my most-wanted character in the line.  |

We'll probably just get a Dragon Stars of him and I would be fine with that seeing how good Baby and Omega Shenron turned out I just want an updated figure of him. I remember I used to have the Jakks Pacific as a kid. That figure was huge from what I remember. |

I think Super 17 is probably the GT character I was least looking forward to getting. I’ve preordered it on hobby genki regardless. If anyone else wants it, he cost £65 including shipping. I think that’s a bit cheaper than through p Bandai. I did say I’m all in on GT so I have to get him.

I don't like Super 17, and I think they know what they are doing. Super 17 is one of those character that is universally disliked in comparison to Baby or Li Shenron.
I just want Pan and Baby, Gogeta 4, and Li Shenron, that's all.
