Both series has its positives & negatives. The SS4 design was & still is brilliant whereas I rolled my eyes in the back of my head with Super Saiyan God, a transformation that is useless. And then I recall an old interview where they were asking the artists why Pan never went SSj, they responded with something like “honestly we couldn’t think of a design for a female Super Saiyan.” A lot of nonsense in both shows lol
it has its good moments, i like the design for ssj4, and i like the concept of baby, other than that, mehhh,.i watch it cause im a fan of the series. super has a lot of issues i dont like too, recycled hair, recycled story, etc. but db peaked in the cell saga for me lol.
Sweet! I wonder if Pancake will come with a mini Giru? Also I can guarantee we’ll inevitably see prototypes of SS4 Gogeta, Super 17, and Baby Vegeta in the near future
Damn, would love a Baby and Super 17 figure. Don't really care for the rest except SSJ4 Gogeta
I see that GT gets mixed emotions, wich is actually "good" next to the felling we have in France and Belgium about it. Basicly, it's being hated.
DBS get mixed emotions about fans in our countries. DB is basicly appreciated and DBZ get the love of everyone. But, there is a but, some fans don't like the Buu saga.
For me it's : DB>DBZ>DBGT>DBS
I trully Love DB and DBZ, GT is mixed for me, more bad than good but not awful, but DBS i'm kinda hate it right now, it's getting worst and worst to me.

GT’s easy to hate on just because Toriyama wasn’t involved at all. I think the quality of the story is similar to Super really. Both rely heavily on fan service, although I think Super leans that way a lot more. Super has a lot of cool moments but also a lot of rubbish, nonsensical moments (the way they beat Zamasu, for instance). I think GT, while it has less highs than Super, is actually of a higher quality in general and is certainly more original. It also provided us with a very good ending to the series as whole. Most people just don’t like that it became very much all about Goku again (not unlike Super in parts), but also actively sabotaged some fan favourite characters (Vegeta was sidelined for most of it, Piccolo died for seemingly no reason, Uub was pretty much ineffectual).
Anyway, to bring it back to figures. I’ve always loved the GT character designs. I want to collect the GT figures because of that. I’d love to see them do Gohan, Goten, Vegeta, Bulla, Uub, etc just because of how different they will all look to the rest of the DB line.
Also, to GT’s credit, they had the audacity to briefly bring back Nappa, only to get killed immediately by Vegeta. They were allies for years so a conversation between them, more specifically Nappa asking Vegeta why he betrayed him, would’ve been great to see. That was a cool moment that no one was expecting. I just wish he would’ve lasted a bit longer.

yeeep lots of missed opportunities in GT. Goten's development, ssj bulla and pan, etc
And lets not forget Raditz made a VERY brief cameo in DBS (not withstanding DBS: Broly), I forget exactly which episode number but it was the one where Krillin was trying to get over his fears and several villains from the past manifested around him as ghosts. Raditz was one of them.
I have to confess: the GT ending was very good. And i don't get the fans complaining about the "all Goku thing". Dragon Ball is the story of Goku, he's the hero. The ones who can't deal with that fact should read/watch another manga/anime.
I agree, the GT ending was appropriate. There were no more loose ends left, every character got their closure. Which makes me wonder where & how DBS will inevitably end now with Akira gone. I’m sure he left some notes behind but who knows if he had a “final chapter” planned. His successor Toyotaro seems to have a good hold on things, but it’s possible he may make controversial decisions that the fans may or may not like. The studio can essentially do whatever they want now without Toriyama’s approval. I guess time will tell.
I heard the manga was about to go on a break, right after the new chapter went out, the 103. I guess it's because of his death. But many say that Toyotaro has been having full power since quite a time now (and we can fell it). So my guessing is that it won't change that much for DBS. But for Daima in wich it's told that Toriyama was much more involved, things will change.

My biggest issue with GT (besides the character designs) was the story-telling and the pacing. If I liked the characters designs, I would still buy the figures, but ultimately I find no attachment to GT. I am, however, looking forward to Daima - it looks well-designed, and full of fun & action.
