It just kinda annoys me that they’ve been cherry-picking the Buu Saga. One of the very first SHF releases was SS3 Goku right out the gate. Then randomly they’ll release Vegito, Fat Buu, Super Buu, Great Saiyaman, Gotenks, etc. over the years, overlapping with other sagas mind you, with no consistency between releases (they even made SS3 Goku TWICE). But like I said it doesn’t bother me as much anymore because the Tonsen version is on its way & it looks amazing.

I hope they make Semi Perfect Cell soon so we can move on from Cell Saga releases and maybe finally get Dabura and some other Buu characters

I just think it’s funny that out of all those figures, we still have yet to see Kid Buu 😭 lol and hes not a minor character either, guess the buu saga characters are not as marketable. |

yeah buu saga has a lot of missing characters.
My personal checklist
goten, trunks, SSJ version of each, buutenks, buuhan, kid buu, dabura, videl,
for cell saga:
semi perfect cell, super trunks, super vegeta, (optional for me: armor goku and gohan)
frieza saga:
namek armor vegeta, monster zarbon.

So I had finally locked a decent deal on Kid Gohan, but leave it up to eBay's checkout to f**k up the process AGAIN. And I just successfully bought a Reisalin Stout figma... WTF??

My checklist on the Buu saga would be :
Kid Buu
Kaïoshin
Dabla (Dabura, i don't remember the right way to write it) with Babidi included as a bonus
Goten & Trunks with both regular and SSJ heads included

After over a year of seeing Kid Gohan at 180+ Canadian PLUS shipping, scooped him up at 150 CAD + free shipping.
I'm a happy camper.

Has anyone gotten the S.H. Figuarts reissue of Bardock and if so does it have the same issues as the first release or has all that been fixed? I remember when I used to own the figure I could barely move the bicep swivels because of how tight they were.

Has anyone gotten the S.H. Figuarts reissue of Bardock and if so does it have the same issues as the first release or has all that been fixed? I remember when I used to own the figure I could barely move the bicep swivels because of how tight they were. The biceps have been fixed, but the issue with the hands might still be a problem. If memory serves, the OG had an issue where the wrist peg would come out of the socket after swapping the hands out, which was a fairly common occurrance. The issue was that the peg holes on the hands were 90% of the issue, since they were smaller than the old Trunks. Bear in mind this is going entirely off of memory, since I did end up drilling the peg holes on my reissue so I could swap them out because of how small the holes were. But, it's not at all worth skipping him since it's an extremely easy fix - take a drill bit and slowly rotate it inside of the peg hole. Try to pop the hand on every so often to see if the tolerances are to your liking, keep going if they aren't, but if the hands go on fine, then you don't need to do any more drilling (obviously make sure to try popping the hand on before doing this to make sure it does fit.) Could've just been an issue with my particular copy, but just to be safe, check the peg hole sizes on his hands before swapping them. |
