Also here’s a big middle finger to all those jackasses that got away with selling that ancient Jakks version for hundreds of dollars over the past 15 years. Moving forward they would be lucky to get $50 for a loose version (with a missing tail & cape, and a giant scratch mark across the chest)

There actually have been cases where preorder windows closed sooner than they anticipated lol. I remember when the NYCC 2021 Goku went up for preorder, he was up for all of three days before selling out (though something tells me they were selling hastily-made reprints and factory defects from the original run, since the QC on the second batch was pretty spotty to say the least.)

But, I can't say I'm surprised if FP Freeza isn't doing too well. He looks phenomenal, but I can see why some of the prices on "Premium" BANDAI are turning people away.



King Cold looks nice, hopefully the throne won't make him cost an arm and a leg. This leak seems to have more credibility behind it since we have tangible proof the guy is some kind of insider (the additional pic of him with the sword.) Idk, maybe he'll have some kind of DLC for Trunks as well to even the price out?

If that leaker is correct (which he probably is, where else would he/she get that photo from) then the throne is going to be huge and will 100% jack up the price, so start saving now

I’ll buy him but it’s going to take up a lot of real estate on my display so some sacrifices will have to be made to accommodate him. Over half of my SHFs are in storage unfortunately. But as I’ve already shown yous guys, I have the entire “Freeza Family,” even Chilled so I have no choice but to complete it with his daddy

As much as it pains me, I sold it, because I knew once an official Cold was being made, all other customs & versions from other companies will soon drop in value so I cashed out. Ever try selling a custom of a popular character AFTER an official version had been released? I almost always lose money, because you pay a couple hundred to have it made, no one will pay that amount for an inferior version when the “real” version is cheaper, better quality, and more accessories, so you won’t break even on your investment. That’s the side of customizing DBZ figures not many like to talk about lol

If Tamashii ever makes an SHF of Chilled (which I think is unlikely) or Frost, I’ll probably do the same. There were many customs of Mecha Frieza at one point years ago, however no one is putting in the effort to making them anymore since the SHF is now on the way. I remember seeing many Bardock customs at one point too, not anymore. I’ve seen this happen with characters all the time. Now that Tamashii is making B & C list characters customizers will have to start making deep cut obscure customs that aren’t on Tamashii’s radar yet, like Pikkon or Onio lol

So my advice to anyone planning on making a custom Janemba, by all means go ahead, just know that Tamashii will no doubt make one eventually since he’s been on a lot of surveys & is very popular, so I believe he is 100% being planned one day soon. You’re better off making King Vegeta, who is even more slept on than King Cold was
