S.H.Figuarts Upcoming Releases

It could be a prank. Few people on Reddit have pictures of it out of the box. Could just be the same person making various accounts.
There's currently no pictures of multiple copies of it sitting on the shelves, which could be suspicious.

A very convincing knock-off nonetheless. The fact we’re even questioning its authenticity proves that bootleggers are improving. And it’s honestly not that bad looking.

My only gripe is, enough with the Goku’s. I know it’s an easy mold to produce, so easy money, but there are dozens of characters that people want, that have never received any figure. Bardock’s team would be great to see, even his wife Gine. Garlic jr., people will buy that. Or any of the villains’ henchmen. They need to take more risks.

Such a weird figure...

The kaioken Goku rerelease being silent dropped doesn't really surprise me, it's a rerelease of a budget figure that's been showing up at walmarts, it's not really a new figure it's just an old one that they probably just simplified the paint/shading because it's cheaper. It's not something they really need to hype up, plus they've done renames before with rereleases like with Super Buu


I really don't think the Gokus change or take "spots" that would go to things like Garlic Jr or Bardock's team. They're basically completely different markets. These Gokus, as well as the recent armored Trunks and I think the recent Super Vegeta, have been showing up at Walmarts in a new little "Crunchyroll" section a lot of stores are getting.

The type of person that would impulse buy a $35 Goku figure at a walmart and the type of person that would preorder a figure of Android 14 are kinda, different.

They take way more risks with this line then they do almost any other Figuarts line.

I really can't think of another SH Figuarts line that has a character on the level of Cui, even Marvel it's almost all way bigger names (though admittedly there are a lot more major characters there).

I've bought Figuarts from Sailor Moon, Love Live, and Pretty Derby and none of those have anything beyond the most major of characters

ohhh man, i looked in two walmarts and targets today, the only thing i saw were vegetas and trunks. Based on what ive been looking, the gokus are all in texas.

honestly as a rerelease I really like it, I really like the matte finish instead of the pearl red as I'm not a fan of it, so for me it's an improvement, I already sold the older version.
