Idk how that even happens, and how no one at Tamashii spotted it. But I find it hilarious lol. No one is reporting QC issues though, and the figure seems sound structurally. I'll still be happy, personally.

Really perplexing how that big of a detail could be overlooked. I guess it’s something that can be painted fairly easily but really a shame it doesn’t just look like it should out of the box! Otherwise the figure looks great to me.

When i see the 3 Goku side by side, it feels to me like i see 3 different guys.
The faces really don't look the same.

looking at the new Goku i am wondering where is the rest of his neck?
that alone is making him look a bit too short. Again i'll ask does someone at Tamashii or bandai not look at that and think that doesnt look correct???
the plastic colour difference is just typical - unfortunately. The real question is however different it looks now how different will it look in a couple of years? will it look totally ridiculous if the plastic starts fading etc.?
Pleased to see a new cell saga Gohan - but i would have liked to see the black haired mullet version pre hyberbolic time chamber first.

Only rationale I can think of is that they did that to reflect his ki aura. Otherwise there’s no excuses to have 2 different skin tones.
Also, the gaps in his chest plate. It looks like he’s wearing armor, they definitely could’ve tightened it up just a little bit.

Seeing Goku the same size as Scouter Vegeta is almost hilarious to me, I always thought that Vegeta was too big anyways. At least he looks good next to Frieza and will probably look great next to Cooler as well but now he's the size of an anime girl figma. I was looking forward to this Goku but I'm going to have to pass on him. If he ever goes on sale I might change my mind but I can't justify that price point for the issues this figure has. Tamashii's really been dropping the ball lately, I've heard people have been having issues with their Guts figure as well.

I've been thinking...
I hope they're taking such a long time to reveal King Cold's preorder info because they're going to re-fit him with a wired cape like the Gohan has...
Hopefully, I should be hearing from my GameStop soon enough re: Goku. I myself am still excited. I love the details they put on his sculpt.

If they don’t use a cloth wired cape for King Corn then the next best option is the soft rubber goods that they used for Turles. I’m still salty that they didn’t do that for Whis’ entire outfit, it’s pretty much a statue with elbow joints.

What Whis had that's a problem is that long ass skirt. You don't get much leg range of motion with that thing in the way!
