I like the figure itself, but the scale doesn't feel right to me either. 19 looks too small.

Seeing those gashapons makes me want Androids 13 14 & 15 even more. And I’m not even a big fan of them, but they would look great posed next to the other Androids. Knowing Tamashii though, I would guess that they would produce only Super Android 13 & ignore the others unfortunately lol they made kui, this makes everyone open. I wouldnt make taking 14, as long as 15 comes with him. True, but also consider that it will take many, many years for those obscure characters to eventually release 😩 |

Release 1-2 gokus and vegetas a year (different forms), release 3-4 minor characters a year, release 2 major villains, re-release previous released characters in the form of sdcc or NYCC, re-release a previous character in an updated version.

Yeah, by the time those characters are made many of us probably won’t even be collecting anymore. Whether we admit it or not all of us scale back on our collections eventually. Just look at this thread alone; over 1600 pages, and a good 90% of those posters abandoned this line either because they’ve given up on the SHF line for being too costly or just plain moved on. Even recently I read people here saying they’re just waiting for a handful of their favorite characters & are done after that. Y’all will come visit these forums once in a while, but inevitably you’ll disappear too.*
And now Dragon Ball Daima is going to take up even more of Tamashii’s release schedule no doubt. So I wouldn’t place my bets on SHF Tapion or SHF Onio being released before 2030.
* In fact I think the only one that will outlive us all is Branjita, naturally 😂

As crisis said, there are folks waiting for their favs and dropping out. I'm one of those. King Cold will be my "that's it, I'm done" moment. In the meantime I wouldn't mind 100% Frieza and Monster Zarbon. And Perfect Cell 2.0 if I'm lucky. |

Me personally im here for the long run on this line, I wouldnt mind seeing every henchmen and D characters. I have a son now and its something i want to pass down to him. lol hoping the value keeps going up and it will give him a nice hefty cash in the future. |

I've realized I kinda dip in and out of the line, less so now since I have a job and money coming in but back when I was in college I'd have large periods where I could not preorder figures even if I wanted to lol.
I think what you said is right Crisis eventually everyone comes and goes. Interests and priorities change. With how many figures this line has it's hard to stay on top of new releases while also collecting like, anything else lol, which definitely doesn't help.
More than anything I think that's part of why they space out releases, why we're missing some really obvious sellers like Kid Buu or a new Perfect Cell, and why we get so many Gokus and Vegetas, they need big releases that'll get back the attention of those who are losing interest, as well as drawing in new people with the more basic/repetitive releases
I don't know if I'll have any figures that would if released would make me feel like my collection is "complete"

Daima will basicly kill the DBZ line, at least for a while.
A 1h30 movie released 10 figures, a serie should release much more.

personally I don’t know what my “final figure & I’m done” will be. I just recently preordered that unofficial Majin Boo so he’s my guaranteed next purchase. Metal Cooler looks dope as hell but I’m still on the fence about it. I don’t think I’ll ever buy another Goku figure again, mmmmaybe GT Chibi Goku since he’s small & will most likely be on the cheaper side. My collection is already super cluttered as is so I can barely fit anything else in there anyway. Without space to place (and pose) the figures, the figures are therefore useless to have.
I don’t wanna sound like a pessimist because I still admire looking at what Tamashii is able to accomplish, it’s just increasingly difficult to invest as the years go by. That’s the trade-off of being a fan unfortunately.

19 was tiny in the anime though iirc? I remember him being a lot shorter than Gero.

I don’t think Daima figures are going to absolutely flood the line once that starts. It took a decent amount of time before they started doing a lot of Super stuff and even now new releases/characters from that are fairly spaced out
Plus while SuperHero got 10 figures, 4 were basically just budget repaint rereleases of Piccolo, Goku, Vegeta and Gohan, and I think they were released in pairs in months other figures released in as well? Besides that it was just the Gammas, who released at the same time, Beast Gohan and Orange Piccolo, Pan, and base Broly who was only really a superhero release because of the crying face and the Gohan parts
I think with Daima they’ll space things out. It being an ongoing series and not a movie that can only truly first release 1 time means they won’t have to worry as much about tying into it as well
I think anyone who wants Metal Cooler should probably get him, I have a feeling he’s only going to shoot up in price over time, it’s why I cracked on preordering him lol. I’m glad they’re making a Dragon Stars version just because it’ll make having multiple way cheaper for anyone who wants to lol

I, like, LOVE this figure. I was gonna pull the trigger on the original eventually but I'm glad I never did and that I waited. I love this form of Gohan best.
