I for once am completely disappointed about the goku, i was hoping for a saiyan saga appearance, a thing that would fit in with both frieza and vegeta. and i really dont understand why we even need a base goku from the later sagas since the super saiyan figure alredy represents that character in those sagas. a saiyan saga goku would have been a much more needed entry to the S.H Figuarts line. but of course everyone have different preferences for their collection it is silly to argue about this. anyway, ive lost hope in the Figaurts line, it is pointless to collect them for me when i only want 2 figuers that are avialble. (frieza and saiyan vegeta) and maybe Bandai will release Nappa in late 2014, And for 2015 probably either Buu or more Cell sagas characters (sigh..) with maybe 1 or 2 early golden age saiyan or namek releases.

Totally agree with this. anyway, ive lost hope in the Figaurts line, it is pointless to collect them for me when i only want 2 figuers that are avialble. I can't believe anyone would be foolish enough to be "let down" by these releases. You clearly didn't live through the early days of DBZ, when figures were simple blocks of rubber. The SHF line is quite frankly the best articulated DBZ release, period. I agree that they release far too few figures and it takes way too long Bandai to issue new figures, but seriously...have you ever seen Jakks' figures?

What is that have anything to do with what i said. if by "simple blocks of rubber" you mean the Bandai Keshigomu line, they are vintage and great with huge character selection. I'm let down by the fact that the goku don't have saiyan saga appearance, i don't want it for my collection and i'm not going to buy it so i'm disappointed. have you even read my post? And the best quality articulated Dragon Ball figuers would be the Medicom releases.

I think we should appreciate that at least new figures are being produced.

If the Medicom DBZ figures were a little cheaper I would buy the whole set. They are awesome.

Well base form Goku is worth every penny he costs. Piccolo, Gohan, and SS Goku are little overpriced IMO. Especially Gohan.

I wonder what the differences in color are from this upcoming Goku, the previous releases, & Krillin Colours are likely to be different from the display figure, as they always are. Seeing as these figures are massed produced and do not have the same level paint applications as the demonstrational figures. Who's to say what they will look like until we have the released figures in hand.
