Call me stupid, but all S.H figuarts (not just DBZ) I know have always, every since the beginning been released through the internet and web stores such as BBTS, Amazon, Ebay, etc.. :/ tamashii web shop exclusive, that's what they're called. They're are originally only sold through this website: tamashii.jp/

There won't be an SDCC Exclusive for Broly. I'm sure Tamashii will produce him with a greenish tint in his hair.

Didn't the Bluefin Tamashii store sell the sdcc piccolo and vegeta for regular price on their website?

They sold them for a markup and will probably continue to do so with future SDCC's. Piccolo stuck around for more than a year and Vegeta sold out within a week. The only Broly I want to see after this one is the normal form with black and SSJ hair

I dont know about you guys but the Barnes and Noble bookstores by me carry the newest Figuarts and even have a display area for them and at decent prices, last time I have there they had all the Sailor Moon chars, both andriods and even a bunch of Power Rangers and Naruto. Also they had the 3 pack base thing, should check one out by you! Andriods where 40 a piece and that's kinda cheap

That is some solid commitment from your Barnes and Noble. The closest one near me only had Mario and Naruto tucked away in a little aisle shelf.

Yeah you guys are lucky you even get that, at my Barnes and Noble, all they have is Star Wars the Black Series. That's actually good being I'm somewhat a Star Wars fan, but they always have the worst ones out of the wave!

If you ask somebody in that specific department, they may tell you when their next shipment is. That's how I get most of the WWE action figures. I knew somebody in high school who worked at Toys R Us purposely to pick the best action figures out of the boxes when they arrived. That's a little shady, though.

Call me stupid, but all S.H figuarts (not just DBZ) I know have always, every since the beginning been released through the internet and web stores such as BBTS, Amazon, Ebay, etc.. :/ After Gohan, Bandai/Tamashii stopped releasing DBZ Figuarts to retail stores in Japan. They continued the line ONLINE ONLY through their webshop, therefore, all DBZ Figuarts are dubbed "webstore exclusives" but that is in reference to Japan. The line has been rather successful on the Tamashii webshop, partially due to the fact that Bluefin Distributors (Bandai's prime North American distributor) has shipped them to U.S. vendors and the line is VERY popular here. Most of the figures do seem to "sell out" on Tamashii webshop, but thus far there are no plans to release the line back in stores in Japan. Even though they certainly seem to distribute enough of the figures around to support retail stores. Seeing them back in Japanese retail stores (not just specialty shops) and selling WELL would perhaps mean Bandai would support the line more and perhaps increase the number of releases.

TRU employees who are "in the know" with variants, figure/toy prices, etc. do this regularly. They can't be stopped as they pay for the product too. My brother worked at TRU and some of his co-workers did this. He even did it himself but not to scalp but mostly just to get the rare figures in some Waves.
