We are the 1st, no news about the Tamashii calendar? It will be Monday morning in Japan (Sunday night here in the states) when the calendar will update. Thanks

Nippon Yasan and AmiAmi's pre orders of Bardock became unavailable super fast, but Hobby Genki has him up for a really good price.
About £35 or under $50

I think Tamashii has lost a lot of customers & OG collectors with their shenanigans they’ve been pulling lately

Years ago it was established that Exclusives would only be repaints of existing characters which almost everybody was cool with, now they set a precedent with UI -Sign- Goku which pissed A LOT of people off (they got away with minor exclusives like chibi Goku’s belt being slightly different), preorders being sold out within minutes making these figures even harder to attain, if you live outside the US then you have jump through even more hoops & pay more fees, characters coming with fewer accessories than they once did, quality control dipping despite the “Tamashii seal of excellence” on each box (paint & joint issues, Jiren comes to mind). A lot of fans have been dropping out of collecting the line due to these reasons
I’m not dropping out just yet, the line still has my interest but I must admit, I’m no longer committed to buying every single figure they release as I once was back in like 2017/2018

I'm collecting this SHF for about 8 years now, and these things really pissed me off. Lately I've been considering quitting the line. This region exclusive stuff is really crapp*. It's already hard enough to collect normal releases with the crapp* currency Brazil has now, even more with the raise of the prices and with this crazy pace of releases.

That's exactly the reason why I've been considering to sell my collection for a while now. I'm still getting all of the releases but it's just getting overwhelming, especially if you are not living in the US.
I enjoy the figures for like 5 minutes, put them on display in one of my detolfs and that's kind of it. Not really worth it if you think about it.

I understand a lot of that frustration, particularly how difficult they've made obtaining the P-Bandai exclusive figures regionally. My guess is that selling it directly and bypassing retail allows them to make more niche characters so they can get an exact quantity which I'm all for and excited about, but you think they would make it accessible world wide. I'm glad it seems like Zamasu will trickle into other regions, but everyone should have a chance to get the figures. On the exclusives front, though, this year, next to last year, was the easiest I have ever been able to get event exclusives. The website breaking was frustrating, but they also did a second run to appease the base. I also honestly don't think the UI -Sign- Goku was that out of left field for them. SSB Vegito, KaioKen Goku, and Kid Goku event exclusives were all basically new forms that would have warranted their own releases but they dropped them as event exclusives before, eventually, either releasing a new mold or just re-releasing the figure. I guess I just think they've always been infuriating on the event exclusives front lol. I think my main frustration with Tamashii right now is they're not really considering the global economy while they're doubling their output. With coronavirus and our heinous leadership teetering the US on the brink of another Great Depression that of course would effect the global economy, fans aren't going to be able to afford paying $120+ a month for two Dragon Ball figures. I wish they were being more considerate of their buyers affordability, but they're obviously thinking with their profit. When I was in college a few years ago I barely would have been able to have bought 4 figures in a year. P-Bandai, shoehorned exclusives, lackluster quality control. Did I sum it up decently crisis? I appreciate the TLDR version, thank you lol

They really put effort on these. Since Ginyu force isn't a hot seller like Goku/Vegeta, they have to justify their price. On the other hand, Gokus and Vegetas are usually very simple and have less accessories (not to the point where the figure is bad, but just simple figures).

I’m definitely buying all the Ginyu Force. They represent the golden era of DBZ
