I was honestly too lazy to search these things  Does anyone know what they are? I keep on seeing them on Manda but I was never curious enough to actually ask what they are. They definitely don't look like manga so what are they supposed to be? It's like a encyclopedia of DB divided in many books. You can read the details on here. dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/DaizenshuuIn Spain they released the book called "Compendi 1" which equals to "Daizenshuu 2 + Daizenshuu 4" a few months ago, I have it, and I can tell you it's pretty amazing. A great guide of this amazing show and it's still not over. I will get the rest of books once they get translated over here. I'm very happy I got it. Wow this thing is amazing man!! I want them all now but they're in Japanese LOL. Might buy the English one from eBay or something. Thanks bro |

 I used to own that SS Goku HQ DX figure! I HATED it! His hair looks like a troll doll!   The hair just goes straight up like a Christmas tree. Question: Didn't HQ DX rerelease that figure with slightly different hair? And at a slightly smaller or larger size? I think they did the same with a Vegeta too...?  |

There is another Goku with different colored hair. I'm not sure if it's any larger or smaller though.

Makes sense takezo although the BD SSJ and powering up SSJ poses have been done to death and are still being milked so I wouldn't be surprised if they do another one. SSJ4 would be nice too. The proportions are waay off on that HQDX although I still may go for it if this year's Kuji turns out to be a dud. What do you mean by BD SSJ?? That is true, the proportions are off in the SSJ2 HQDX, and he doesn't look like Goku too much. To be honest, I didn't like him when I got it in a package with Majin Buu and Majin Vegeta (got it cause of these last 2). But after sometime it has grown on me now.  Either way, if a very good/great figure is made of SSJ2 Goku in the next Ichiban I will be getting it and selling the HQDX version, to not have duplicates. |

I think this is the only pic I have of the one I had. I remember I stuck his hair in freshly boiled water so I could try to reshape it a little bit. It didn't help much. Still looked goofy.  Personally, I think he looked stupid as hell. Here's some pics from ebay.  There's apparently several different volumes of him. Vol. 2 that looks goofy as hell. And Vol. 2.5 that looks equally goofy as hell. vLQ~~60_57.JPG)  But there is Vol. 1 that looks pretty much great! And a Vol. 1 special clear version that also looks great.   For DBZ Kai, there was a Vol 3 one in a black box that looks like a rerelease of vol 1 to me.   This is why I wanted a pic from the side, because he looked like he had been lying down on his back. The reason I put mine in boiled water was to try to bring his hair backward some and spread it out. The one on the left is vol 2 or 2.5 and the one on the right is vol 1.   Vol 1's hair doesn't look dumb. So go with Vol. 1  |

Thanks BranjitaThe pic that takezo posted doesn't show the 'flatness' of the hair at the back much profoundly so I thought there was nothing wrong with it; I see what you were trying to say now that you described it visually. The vol. 1 is definitely loads better than the subsequent versions. The clenched teeth expression would've been overlooked too if it weren't for that disproportionate hair. |

I never realized it was possibly supposed to be Super Saiyan 2 form. The box doesn't say that. I just thought it was really weird when I had it. I never even knew the Vol 1 version existed (I never thought about it). Vol. 1 looks like "SS Goku" when I think of SS Goku. I would have kept that one if I had it.

Is the Vol.1 supposed to be SSJ2 Goku too? I didn't think so, but it may be. Really, the difference btwn SSJ and SSJ2 has always been hard to tell apart from the hair. One spike of hair down and the rest are long spikes going up. Either way, checking it now, both of these versions have several spikes of hair going down, so technically these Goku are SSJ. Am I right? For example, there is no doubt that the Ichiban Kuji Gohan represents his SSJ2 form.  |
