By the way is it safe if I buy a Sheron or Oozaru from Japan? Am I correct to think that auctions selling the items should be genuine if they're from Japan?

I think there is a certain taste if a seller is legit, there are many legit Hong Kong based stores, since many of the Japanese market merch are getting released there as well.
- though they are greatly outnumbered by the KO stock sellers and the chinese KO sellers.
I agree with you that you are usually right to assume that if an item come from Japan,it is more than likely to be authentic, that is due to the fact that getting KO's in Japan would be more difficult than getting legit homeland merchandise.
But that doesn't mean that a Japanese seller can't still be a scammer, buying a cheap KO of an expensive item that was heavily bootlegged; like the Proovy Father and son Kamehameha or the Medicos Goku - So buying from Ebay will always a envolve a certain risk, but it is still unlikely. You are safe though buying from official Japanese stores.

I don't think that there is a bootleg of the 09 Kuji shenron out there, if there was, I don't think that the cheap usual bootleggers factories could pull off a convincing imitation of it anyway.
For the 08 Kuji Oozaru,the bootleg that caps mentioned is not common, something that is under the radar atm. you shouldn't worry about those two.
I'd like to see the Oozaru bootleg too, I have never heard of it until caps mention it the other day.
