That's crazy I foget how long it's been since they showed off the original prototype. He's still one heck of a figure and I really want to get at least 2 of him if not 3. So I can have 2 with diff heads one with a serious and the 2nd normal or cheerful and a 3rd to maybe tear up down the rd trying to make someoneles out of him. Yippie I can't wait

If anyone here was hesitant before about trying out SH Figuarts, now would be a good time to test the waters by buying Goku now that we actually have a normal version.
Definitely going to have him front and center.

I'm looking forward to painting it. I used to make custom masks, but never customized figures before, so I'm going to use the Advice Guide! I would really like to make a Kaioken Goku or maybe since the suit is closer, a SSJ God Goku. Or just paint the faces for more SSJ face options. Or just knowing me, just keep them as is, because I'll be too anxious that I wouldn't do a satisfactory job. Either way, I think it looks good! I'm sure people here with make amazing customs!

Hong Kong is an alright place for picking up releases. Just be sure to check the seller's other listings.
Its those sellers who only list "china, China" that are subject to skepticism really.
Personally, I'm going to wait for my pre-order to come in at BBTS, since its cheaper and I have 2 other items due this month for pre-orders as well, so then I can ship all of them together.

Ye-yeah! Just bought me a Son Goku. I would have liked to buy two or even three, but I couldn't justify multiple figures, not at that price. I don't think it was that unreasonably priced for just the one figure. And now I wait...

Yeah bro! The total amount after currency conversion was only 90 dollars, and postage was "free". Way I see it is like this, postage would have almost certainly costed around 30 AUD, if not even more. So that leaves roughly 60 AUD for the figure itself, which is right around what I would have paid for a figure out of the US in a few weeks time anyway. Plus, this is my cheapest figuarts purchase to date. Though I can't really tell if that's an achievement or if just depressing...
