That's not really the mental outcome I got from it. I got: watching this show just made me feel hopeless. Not the type of thing I'll be watching again.  There were neat aspects, but that blonde headed guy with the eyebrows wimpering the entire freaking time really put me in a bad frame of mind, and that lasted most of the day. I don't even have depression or anything like that particularly, but geez, I had no idea this show would bother me. That anime on adult swim where people used their blood as weapons didn't even bother me  so it wasn't the blood or violence, it was the dialogue and voice acting putting me into a state of despair. There's a few members on here I know of who definitely suffer from depression (they've told us/me in the past) and I don't think they should watch this. Just my honest opinion. Anybody with perpetual happy thoughts go right ahead lol. For reference, the two episodes I watched had the introduction of the berserk titan or whatever, the guy with the funny teeth, and in the end of the second episode he has a guy come out of his neck. |

Just started watching this show and I'm hooked. I usually don't get into anime besides DBZ and Cowboy Bebop, but AoT is pretty damn good. I agree with Bran that the first few episodes were depressing as f*ck with a lot of characters dying off immediately and the hopeless tone of the show. It gave me this weird depressed feeling that I haven't had since I saw the scene in Pan's Labyrinth where the Pale Man eats the pixies. Something about being helpless then bitten in half or swallowed whole by a large creature freaks me out. Either way, it's been worth suffering through so far.

I was not expecting much about this serie when I saw some vid of deaths in Youtube, but 2 weeks ago I gave it a try, and it surprised me quite a lot. To be honest I enjoyed it very much and I have already finished Season 1.
It got me so pumped I'm even thinking about getting some figure of the main characters in the near future.
Have you guys seen the figures of Eren/Mikasa/Levi made by Sentinel - Good Smile Company - Kotobukiya - Pulchra?
I can't decide which line I like better. Most of the times I enjoy the figures better when they are in static or semistatic poses. In that case, the ones made by Sentinel (Levi, Eren and the Armin prototype) are looking sick to me. Looks like a great line to follow.
Then you have the GSC, Koto and Pulchra companies that make the characters in crazy nice poses. Looks like the best detail is made by GSC.
The prices are pretty similar overall.
Which line of figures do you like better right now?

You apparently like statues more than articulated figures  I prefer the kotobukiya ones since they're larger than GSC and the poses are nicer than the sentinel ones IMO. I even preorderd kotobukiya Levi There are master stars figures coming out soon for them too so that's supposed to be much cheaper. There's also this statue on Big in Jap of Levi on a chair. I think you might like this too. |

I think you might like this too. Yeah man for sure  I always prefered statues/figures with no articulation and that's what I collect. So if I buy some AoT figures will also be that way. (the RaH figures I've seen are very nice tho, and you can't even see the articulations, but they are so expensive). The Koto are bigger but mostly because of the tree base but I think the overall sizes are pretty similar. I have checked the MSP and Banpresto normal line figures, not bad, but the difference on quality is very notorious. As I would just buy only 1 figure of each character I prefer high end quality statue and I would go for Koto/Sentinel/GSC/Pulchra. The Levi in the chair was nice till I figured how small it was and the painting was not top notch. And I prefer a better representative figure of them, like the other ones with the 3d gear. So when is your Koto Levi coming?? I think that's the best Koto by now, he looks amazing. |

But you know they're making a 600 piece limited edition Annie to be sold at wonder festival. That thing will sky rocket! That's why I'm still waiting for more images of the final product/reviews and some other versions. I didn't know the Annie Rah version was limited to 600. It's gonna get ugly real soon.   Bahhh a lot of time left yet damn... I'm waiting for the Medicos Goku (Sept) and it's been an eternity now...  So will you get Eren/Mikasa or another character in the future? If so, which version you like better of the ones released by now? |

I watched the whole series on Netflix about a month ago. Watched all 25 episodes in like a week, amazing series! Hoping they release a second "season" or what ever they wish to call it.

I just finished the 1st season last night, and I can't wait for the next season. I read that the second season is supposed to come out this month? Anybody know if that's just for the manga or if it includes the anime version? I also read that there's two films scheduled for theatrical release in Japan in November. Btw, does anyone here own this? I'm curious about the quality and size of the set.  |

I own it but I don't like it at all. I don't like the whole Nendoroid line so I guess my judgement is hampered. But the colossal Titan is truly tiny. Like 8 cm high or something. The other Titans are like 1 inch maximum.
If I would advise on it, I'd say don't get him.
