Hey guys did any of you ever get into collecting the Irwin 12 inch DBZ figures??? I remember back when I was little seeing these at target, they were never as popular as the regular Irwin figures at the time and not many people were into them when they came out in my area. I recall seeing them on Clarence back in the day. I had never bought any but regret not getting any back then. I wound up getting this SS goku very cheap in a lot with an SBC broly and other figures a few years ago. These figures are really under-rated. The have excellent articulation considering their size! as well as being one of the first DBZ figures with soft goods I can remember seeing. I recall them making SS Goku, Regular Goku,Piccolo ,Vegeta,Tien and future Trunks. I been wating to get me a Piccolo and Vegeta at a dissent price but seem to be scarce. I think it would of been neat if this line would have lasted longer and expanded more giving us more characters in the 12 inch soft good scale. Imagine having a Perfect Cell, Broly, Mystic gohan or even a kid buu in this line, now that would have been extremely awesome. Did any one else really like these??? The also kinda remind me a tab bit of the Marvel famous covers and Marvel signature series Figures although Marvels were a tab bit smaller(9 inches) then the DBZ 12 inch ones. But I would love to one day get my hands on more of these guys

I bought Tien when he was released and had him about ten years. The thing that bothered me most was that they didn't use enough fabric on the legs so if you posed them, their knees and thighs would show. They also had pretty dumb hands that weren't good for posing. The feet were really well sculpted oddly enough. I didn't like Tien's head sculpt though because it looked too immature.

They did that fabric thing on the other figures? I thought it was done intetionaly on SS Goku to expose more of his legs because he was in battle but maybe it wasn't intentional if it is appearnt on the others. I wonder if Piccolo or Vegeta had the same type of hands. I haven't realy seen the Tien up close I only seen it on a few pics but all pics I seen are of him in a package I never seen him lose. In my Opinion I think Piccolo or Vegeta look the coolest on the line. I just wish there were more pics of them lose |

Vegeta/Piccolo/SS goku look best of the line. Vegeta is the best of the line (only one i have and will keep)
as for trunks, make an offer but know he has no sword or sheath

Wow its kool you have Vegeta. Do you have pictures of Vegeta? I always wanted to see pics of The Vegeta and Piccolo up Close as well as trunks |

I have them all and love them even though they aren't the best looking. I also have SS3 and SS4 Goku 12 inch figures from Giochi Preziosi that fit in quite well with them.
