Awesome catches, guys! First I've seen of those "Goku Great Battle" figures, Majin Vegeta looks pretty nice. Nice banks, Marky. Always wanted to know what they were made out of, vinyl? Thanks. It's a shame but the DBZ Popy figures just aren't as impressive as the DB ones. They still look amazing though.

I analyzed Ran Fan and her casting lines are crazy obvious and idk why her face looks like that. And the one scene you got that I thought I'd wish I could get from you (Bulma in the bath tub) just looks like it's made of crusty bread crumbs. I didn't look at all of them in detail, but what few I have owned haven't looked anything like that.

Yeah unfortunately those are bootlegs (at the least the DB based set is) I'm unsure on the Z ones as I don't own that set. The DB based figures it's obvious though... All the skin tones in that set tend to be very tan, with exceptionally tight and well done paint work. Here's some pics of the legit-ness for you to compare to....    |
