Very cool dioramas, Eis. I've always liked the look of them. You going to open 'em and put 'em together?

I'll probably open them just to see how they look all assembled in person, but in the end they'll probably go back to their boxes - at least until I get a little more display space!

Yeah, but there are French sellers in particular who will not ship to America, so their auctions do not even show up in a regular ebay.com search. Many of the European countries are like that.

That's why I trawl ebay; au, fr, hk and jp! You'll find a lot of the stuff you thought was rare isn't as hard to find as you'd think. I used to also search ebay.it but what can I say, 90% of the time they are just out there to dupe you. I also distrust the Italian postal service with a passion. A lot of things just miraculously disappear in transit. All in all, I do not recommend buying anything from Italy over the internet!

I only trust pgv when it comes to buying from Italy now. It wasn't as bad ten years ago... There some risk involved especially with buying from Italian sellers who do not follow the rules when mailing internationally.

Ask them if they have mailed internationally before. They have really strict rules there. There's a website or two devoted to mailing stuff to and from Italy if you Google it. You can't just throw something in a box, hand write a label, and hope it gets there or vice versa because the stuff that looks like personal gifts gets searched and stuff with high value does too.
I'd still buy Italian auctions if I wanted to, you just have to consider that you may end up having to file a claim with eBay or PayPal and be really, really patient because the mail is super slow from Italy.

Finally got me this pointy headed gigantor! All for under a hundred dollars, and that's posted too. I really don't understand why this figure has suddenly sky-rocketed in price. I can't imagine too many collectors have an interest to display this guy with their figuarts collection. I guess we can thank Havok and his dslr for that one! LOL! www.ebay.com/itm/390745431453?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649Well, it would seem I no longer understand the concept of moderation and I blame you all!
