If that is indeed the date one would think that the preorder would have been popped up since Frieza comes out in August and Trunks has a release date for October. |

It's funny, the figures such as Trunks could preorder already though Trunks comes out after Buu. Perhaps Buu hit a snag and is gonna be delayed like Vegeta was. Possibly... |

Sad to not see more love for the Megahouse DOD line. Seems a lot of people bashing them. I'll be straight with you, I can kinda see the argument about them looking too doll-ish, being too small and a little over prices, but i'm biased since I've been collection POP figures for years now, and until now my favourite DB figures have been my Medicom RAH Goku, SSJ Goku, Piccolo & Gohan!! So far I've picked up Goku and Piccolo, and I have to say I am relatively impressed. The hair on Goku looks a bit washed out, but Piccolo look just perfect. Also, I have to disagree with DBFanGirl regarding the shouting experssions. I personally like these the most, and whilst they are static figures, it really helps to show a bit of dynamism. I've just ordered Namek Saga Goku from amiami and looking forward to Freezer next month. He may not scale well with the rest of them, and I imagine will look too small next to the RAH's, but detail and sculpt-wise he looks simply fantastic!! I'm really concerned about Vegeta......the face looks a bit off to me, but perhaps that's just the lighting and angles we've seen him from so far. I really hope so.............Broly and Golden Freezer are an easy pass for me (I don't collect outside of the original manga canon). Trunks is amazing, just pre-ordered him and Buu looks promising. Will likely pass on Kid Goku and will have to wait and see for SSJ3 and Bluma if the rumours are true (although MH will undoubtedly over sexualize her!!) I've also finally decided to start hunting for the SH Figuarts that don't have an announced DOD. Namely the 3 Androids and Krillin. I'm sure a Gohan & Cell DOD will be next.........   |

SSJ3 Goku has been confirmed as you can in the picture above as one of the DOD that are suppose to come out this year as to when that might be still remains unknown. DOD Bulma and Gold Frieza were announced shortly after this image was released and since Gold Frieza is already out on preorder I think it is safe to assume that Bulma will also be released too later this year. However, considering that she isn't in the line up I would say like DOD Golden Frieza she will more than likely be an exclusive. As for the release date for Majin Buu I heard that he will be coming out in November but I have found nothing confirming that.

Now that I own the Zero EX SSJ3 Goku I don't think I'll bother with the DOD, just seems kind of redundant. I will be interested to see how he looks though. One thing Megahouse does really well is nailing the face sculpts, they're more on model than most of the anime. If the DOD gets the face, and more importantly the hair right, I might double dip on it.
