Need the 2nd and 3rd form Hq Dx Friezas. I won the 2nd form a few days ago on buyee for about 35$, but i'm not sure still if i'll go through with it or not. Also tried to look for the Banpresto Action Pose toddler Gohan, literally went through over 100 pages of search, and nothing.

Big fan of this line so far. I have the Goku and Piccolo and already pre-ordered the Broly. They look great. If you nit pick over accuracy, then you probably wont like them but if you appreciate statues from an artistic standpoint, they are excellent. I feel them to be somewhat stylized and well done. They display great as well. I think this is my favorite face on a Frieza so far, really captures his sleek appearance. It's a shame about it being 19cm though because if that includes the base that brings the top of his head up to Goku's mouth, a good 2-3cms too big.

Frieza is on amiami for ¥5540. It is indeed 19cm high. It wouldn't fit with neither scultures or HQDX

They don't keep them scaled to one another whatsoever. But that can be a good thing from some perspective, bigger characters would fit with smaller scale lines, and vise versa.
Really really really.. wishing here that they would do a D.O.D scouter Vegeta at some point... Don't really have interest in the ones shown so far other than Buu and possibly Kid Goku.

I wish Frieza was in a different pose but those faces look amazing! I may have to customize him when I get him though to shorten the area below his knees. I just can't unnotice it. It just looks...wrong. |

Medicos Ver 1 is getting re-released (again), as well as the ver. 2.
I'm a bit pissed because I was hoping to have a rare and valuable figure on my hands, but them re-releasing the thing is going to drive the value down.
A year and half ago, you couldn't find one for under $500.

Maybe he just got the pictures of v2 and v1 mixed up? Sept 2015 is when v2 is getting the re-release. Kind of odd to re-release v1 not even a year later, and on the same month as the v2 re-release.
Regardless, its good for the fans. Value be damned, this should be owned by all DB collectors.

honestly, if I ran a company i would rerelease any product my company made that the value exceeds 200% of the MSRP, maybe even 150%. unless it was a promotional or numbered release of course

Companies made rare merchandise for only two reasons: 1. They have TOO much money. 2. They don't have enough to make a large scale release. Money is money. A figure going for quadruple it's retail doesn't help a producer, just those looking to profit, unless they re-release. |
