His skin might be leathery or something like that (eww that'd be horrible). I was never a fan of the cloth gimmick. The only company I know that pulls it off well is Medicom and even then I still don't like it (good thing I don't collect Medicoms, I'd be living on the street)

Perhaps that could be what makes him distinguishable as part of the DOD line...

The reason I say this is because they could come out with a Master Stars Piece Freeza that would pretty much be the exact same figure if he's just solid PVC.

I like the cloth too, i've said it before that i think doing this makes the line unique, and stand out from the other DBZ figure lines.
