Okay... the new voting section is set up and I tested it and only people who have posted more than 5 times have access to it. This will prevent cheating, as I can monitor anyone who makes multiple accounts and spams to get 5 posts or more just to vote on their scene or a friend's scene. So you have to be a member and have 5 posts minimum to vote, or even access the voting section. I also disabled the ability of everyone except admins from making topics/polls there. This will prevent people from disqualifying themselves or somebody accidentally disqualifying another member by identifying who made a certain scene. This is going to be awesome... I have a little more control than I did on old DBT when I did Scene Stealers 3...  |

Yup, there's some awesome scenes this year. The random drawing of names from the witch cauldron worked out well too. It would have been horrible if the best scenes ALL faced each other in the first round. Whatever ends up being 11th place is going to end up being a hell of a nice scene. Everybody-- feel free to comment or congratulate here, but don't endorse a scene or mention one specifically. We don't want this to be a popularity contest, we want it to be based solely on the pictures, which is why I am not allowing posts in the voting section. When the contest is completely over, I'll make another section for comments on specific scenes so you can post all you want about them in around 1 month  |

Good idea. Totally agree that the scenes should remain fairly anonymous till the end of the contest.

It was extremely difficult making decisions for a lot of the votes. Everybody who entered should be very proud. It is definitely going to take me a minute to decide who gets the wildcard prize. There are SEVERAL scenes that I absolutely love. |

I'm simply blown away with how much effort and detail went into some of these photos' setups. Can't wait to see which shots move on and what we'll see in the next round!

Yeah, some were hard to vote... at this point I'm really curious to see how the tournament will proceed.  By the way, I'd suggest to make those threads VISIBLE also to guests. It would encourage more people to register to see some artworks. |

By the way, I'd suggest to make those threads VISIBLE also to guests. It would encourage more people to register to see some artworks. I wish I could, but in the settings, I'm unable to. If I change the settings, from the way I have them, anybody and everybody will be able to vote which could lead to cheating. Right now you have to have 5 posts to look and 5 posts to vote. I can't do 0 posts to look and 5 posts to vote, it won't let me have that adjustment. What I can do is make a topic in this section that shows all of the scenes and has descriptions of what is happening, as many of the people who submitted scenes explained what was happening. |

Seeing the scores will just cause dishonesty because people can change their votes as many times as they want on proboards, so I don't want people seeing them until the polls close.
