Just found an incredible Figuarts Kaioken Goku. The customizer also made a SS2 Goku head that looks awesome.   (I've wanted to see something like this for so long)There's also a God Goku.  source. |

Hmm, nice paint work, but I'm not seeing any sculpting. The SS2 head just looks like Gohan's hair on Goku's face. *looks at source* Ohhhh, hmm.   That's pretty good! I don't have the SS Goku and SS2 Gohan's hair memorized though since I don't own either of those figures (packaged or loose) but it does look nicely formed! |

adrenaline - it just lacks one floaty strand. I don't think it needs to be too wild considering it looks pretty much just like the regular hair when he's standing still in the film.
brajita - the strands are too thick for it to be the SS2 Gohan hair and you can see the main SS strand in the middle behind all the strands he added. it also seems he repainted the entire outfit. pretty impressive.

I think he sculpted a new mask piece for him, it looks different. Considering how often I see these guys on eBay, missing the mask, it's probably a good idea to sculpt you own.  |

I like customizers that pay attention to scale, but I think the shading on the hair is a bit overdone. I also wish someone would make Goku's eyes more accented and pointy. The 2nd pic he has of SSGoku from the side looks good, but the head on the SS2 could use the eye fix.

His paint skill sure is impressive. I like that kaioken goku, expect something like this for SDCC exclusive. I would prefer havok's SSG by using the banpresto(?) head on figuarts goku's body.

I love those mg figurerise, I got all 3 goku and only assembled the normal goku for display. He followed the mg kioken version colored scheme very well. he shouldn't sprayed paint over the eyes white.
Gil, it is airbrushed with clear red paint.

Can I achieve that result by usin brush only? I've always been wanting to make one for my personal collection, perhaps a battle damage kaioken goku.

I think Kaioken Goku need to have more muscles and he need to be shirtless/battle damaged. just paint him all in red is not enough.
other then that, everything else is impressive, really liked the SS2 Goku

yes, but need to start with a skin paint and add red tint to it. But you wont able to create the darker red shadowing blend unless your pretty good with dry brushing. I did a naked one just no time to continue for weeks.
