hehe.. to save space so that i just use the same pix to post at lego forum .. now this got me skeptical whenever somebody purchase a highly sought after rare shf like that trunks ... how much did that cost you??? will be pretty hard to get at decent price ... unless something like this happened

i found it in my facebook db group .. cant say i believe this or not .. but still, if it's true .. that's one hell of a happy story and not sure when that happened .. maybe when sdcc goku early released and still cheap .. well, lets not speculate .. just look at it as chicken soup for our soul .. haha

I am crying tears of joy. Only if we can all have "friends" that will just give you something very valuable like that

So this could be catch of a lifetime if it's true but we'll probably never know. (I'm still super skeptical.)
On a site called Gumtree (a very poor mans Australian ebay) somebody posted an ad about half an hour ago for an SDCC Goku, SDCC Gohan, SS Vegeta and Trunks. This ad listed them for $100 for the lot and $30 for each figure. 4 ppl had viewed the ad at this time, including myself and I quickly sent an enquiry e-mail off.
The description read as if from the mother of a collector and the son said she could sell them, i didn't really believe it for a second as it was even stated in the description that the son said they were worth a lot.
While I was waiting for a reply I looked at the pictures and it wasn't long before I was able to find matching pictures on Google images that weren't linked to the ad, so that's a big red flag right there.
I received a reply saying they had been sold within two minutes of the ad going up.
Now while it reeks of a scam (and I actually reported it anyway in hopes somebody would at least look into it) some things don't add up.
1. You could put all four of these figures up for $500 and it would still be a bargain so why would u just settle for scamming $100 out of someone?
2. If you're scamming you know the price for all is irresistible, so why offer the $30 each option at all.
3. If you were scamming and didn't have the figures anyway, why not tell me they were available and scam another quick $100 out of me. (I would have asked for proper photos anyway.)
Just thought this was a bit weird. Either way somebody just got the deal of a lifetime or just got screwed. and I wasnt either of them.
