I'm very satisfied with this figure, he only has a couple minor marks. The cape I have on him is from my original piece of crap Lord Slug (two Lord Slugs ago haha) so it isn't the one this special paint edition is supposed to have. I actually prefer it this way though, as I don't like the cape he's supposed to come with at all, and so I don't really care that I have never owned that cape. This one looks so much better.

As for which figure is better, I think it's up to your preference. I just bought the Lord Slug I have now because the price was too good to pass up. I think I prefer the special paint version because his thumbnails are painted. There are a few differences though. The special paint version also has gold shading on his leather chest belt things, dark green rub shading on his arms, dark red rub shading on his orange belt and neck thing, and his boots have a kind of country-western boot appearance to them because the way the brown is painted is different from the way the other version is painted. The regular version has more accurate boots as a result. The regular version has a metallic blue painted gem on his chest, and I prefer that as well. Mine has a gold fleck of paint on the gem, making it look like a paint chip missing.

I think he's a nice enough size. Not too many people have room for a 4 or 5 foot tall Lord Slug .

He has nice detailing, a very well done face, and articulation that is at least useful a little bit. He's kind of like the "AB Fat Janemba" of the Movie Collection figures -- the 1 Movie Collection figure that should probably be in everyone's collection whether they collect Irwin, Jakks, HG, or something else. Good figure of a character pretty much ignored by every other line of figures, and because his size changes in the movie, he works pretty well with any collection.

Today I want to share my latest catch. Jakks Semi Perfect Cell and Irwin King Kai. I could not be happier with these figures. King Kai looks awesome next to Figuarts IMO, and Cell is almost perfect in scale to them. Wish he was a bit taller but does the job for now lol. The detail on both these figures is great.
