My holy grail of waaaaaay used and waaaaaay over played with jakks figures arrived today. I got them for $20 including shipping, but they are definitely garage sale quality. Still, I'm happy to own this Bardock and Vegeta finally and none of the figures are broken or missing fingers or anything else major. Part of me feels like it wasn't money well spent, while the other part of me knows I'm not the only person who would have jumped on this deal. Now... I just have to figure out what I'm going to use these guys for.

For $20 that's a he k of a catch IMO bran even if they r beat up u could prob resell the bardock and make Ur money back plus some extra cash pretty easily I'd think. Either way id prob keep him and make someone cool out of him

Who should I make out of him? To me, his proportions are nowhere near good enough for me to use him for Bardock. His crotch specifically is a bit long and looks like it is for someone taller and he's already a little too tall for Bardock. I may surrender and just make him into Bardock lol, but I'd like ideas.

I would just make a better bardock out of him. Try changing the bottom half to some shorter legs if need be but I'd like to see u make him into a really nice acurate battle damage bardock And I still think that vegeta head makes the best head for king vegeta so i think that's what u should use it for

Just got my Jakks Cyborg Frieza and King Cold in and have a major problem with the King Cold. Both his ankles and his right hip are so loose I can't get him to stand. What is the best way to tighten the joint?

All of my King Cold figures required a small drop of super glue on the front and back of each ankle. I recommend doing them one ankle at a time. Tiny drop front, tiny drop back, wiggle continuously for like 5 minutes, problem solved. Just don't do it if you recently washed the figure because water will turn white when mixed with super glue.
Not much worth doing about the hip to be honest. If, after.... or waaaaay before doing the ankles... you want to stick him in boiled water, you can bend his leg out a bit, shake ALL the water out, quickly dry the joint with a paper towel pushed in by a tiny screwdriver, and then do a drop or two of super glue and wiggle. I would hold him upside down so it's less likely water will drip out onto the glue. The legs aren't hollow, so they don't hold water like the hips and torso will.
You could use a hair dryer to warm up the leg to bend it if you prefer... better idea really... lol

I tried the superglue on the ankle but it is even worse now. Plus his feet don't sit even on the ground. I think I have bought a pile of crap EDIT: Oh how I love my little clear rubber bands. Wrapped one around each ankle and the hip and he is now fixed
