I actually liked the prequels. The major lightsaber duels were worth it. I liked them too, especially Revenge of the Sith. I loved how dark that movie got towards the end. I can understand why people didn't like them, but I really liked the villains and the fight scenes. And I found the Emperor's rise to power and the slaughter of the Jedi to be more interesting than the kinda generic "the villain's the father of the hero and turns good at the end" story. I'm not saying the prequels are better or anything and they definitely haven't had the cultural impact that the original trilogy has, but I don't think they deserve as much hate as they get. I mean they're not DB Evolution bad, lol.

I like the prequels for nostalgic reasons just like DBZ, even though they both have those occasional cheesy moments. Also, I can't deny the prequels because they were planned from the beginning. The sequel trilogy was cancelled by Lucas, and now that Disney owns the company, they're gonna milk those tits for all they can get.
Oh yeah and regarding Disney now owning Marvel, they f*cked that up too… I think that is a good preview of what's to come with Star Wars.

What I disliked about it most is that it felt really, really rushed to me. Episode I felt like Disney had their hands in the pot long before the buyout; Episode II had all the excitement of a chess tournament with its run-on scenes and cringe-worthy dialogue; then Episode III, the one that felt the most like Star Wars to me just seemed like it was over too damn fast and too much content was stuffed and crowded.

Haha that's a good point about Episode I. Jar Jar Binks was like a sign of the future… I'll bet Disney will release at least one Jar Jar Binks themed straight-to-video release in the coming years.

I've been starting to collect a little bit of starwars figures so I was wonder if anyone collects starwars figures on this board maybe you would like to post your collection? I'll post my little collection later... I got the black series boba hes probably going to be the only one I get considering how expensive it is. I got a collection of star wars figures, most of it consists of deferent types of troopers. when I was younger I was obsessed with trying to collect at least 6 of each type of trooper to create battalions and buying there commanders as well. for example I got about 10 utapau orange clones with the vintage collection cody, the first cody that came out and the two difernt commander codys from the clone wars series. I also got snowtroopers, dark troopers, scout troopers, sage clone troopers, galactic marines etc. lol I was obsessed with tropers that I tried to get every trooper I saw at the store. a lot of my star wars stuff is doubles, I also bought a whole bunch of boba fetts from the saga legends, I was trying to build an army of fetts as well. so my star wars collection isn't so impressive lol its mostly repetitive. I was the type of person that just wanted to build clone armies lol

I also have a small Star Wars collection (mostly some figures and vehicles that I've owned since I was a kid) and also recently got into the black series, I bought wave 1 from Amazon at $16 each and then Leia and Greedo for $10 each. I got Boba Fett from thinkgeek at $25 since it started going for $40+ at other retailers. Now I'm only missing Han but since there's going to be a re-issue of him in wave 3 I'm waiting to see if I can get a nice deal on him too

What is the official release date for Black Series Wave 3 now? It was late Jan but they keep delaying it. I'm getting all 3 figures. For me Bespin Luke is my favorite version of him.

I have mixed feelings about that luke. The likeness isn't half as good as the first one's, but the body is so much better. Obi-Wan is still meh. Uhg.. Wave 3.. Hell, I haven't seen wave 2 in stores.
ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET ME A BOBA FETT FOR A REASONABLE PRICE?
