This is a pretty lame attempt by me a year or so ago and includes pics of bootleg sets. However, it's better than nothing. Eventually a new checklist should be made and this image will just be updated for its secondary purpose: It's really popular to steal the heads from these and put them on 5 inch scale custom figures. Some figures are marked based on what I know and my opinion.  |

Have there been bootleg versions of these? How do I tell them from the original?
Also, do they have a box or they just come bagged in plastic?

Gee, I never responded to this. I figured somebody else would #whydoihavetodoeverything?  The bootlegs have balls that aren't completely transparent. Some bootlegs are missing details, like the ball on the top of toddler Gohan's hat isn't clear like the legit one. The legit balls are (unfortunately) very sticky, and are not easy to remove from the base. The bootlegs are pretty good, but legit ones are very high quality. You can find legit ones in their boxes sometimes, but not usually. The reason why is because they are blind box figures, and you won't know who is inside without opening the box. |
