A member of sideshow pointed out an interview that was done to a tamashii nations representative: Here's the DBZ related highlights: At around 12:45, they talk about a hint towards the DBZ SDCC exclusive, and the representative says something along the lines off... "We've done Goku, Gohan, And Piccolo. Who do you think is next?" And the interviewer responded "vegeta?" And he said "That's a good guess, but I don't know" and gave a sly smile. So SDCC Vegeta anyone? At around 18:05 they talk about reissuing web exclusives, and he said that's something that's never been done in any line. If it happened they would have to tweak something like the color. So if SDCC vegeta is correct, and he's based on his cell appearance, he might have metallic paint or a manga version? At around 19:50 they're asked if they have a master license, and they say that they're a collectors only company and no mass produced products. So I guess that means more saiyans so they can sell, and less of minor/B characters?

Just watched, it was enlightening, and comforting to know the representatives have passion for their work.
I'd like to mention around 16:30, they say there was some doubt whether or not dragonball figuarts zero would do good but it blew up when it hit retailers. He says he believes there will be more db figuarts zero in "other categories" now, and even dragonball products in other tamashii brandings (SH monsterarts?) as well! Thats inspiring. Also i would LOVE figuarts zero's of lesser characters that don't need fully articulated versions, the detail on FZ's are wonderful

Why would you think that there wouldn't be minor characters made if the figures are not mass produced Gohan?

Idk I just thought since they're not mass producing, they'd want to make the important characters so that they'd make cash?

Since they aren't mass producing, they don't have to worry about leftover units, so minor characters are fine. If they made 20,000 Krillin figures and only 5,000 sold, it would hurt them. If they made 2,000 and they all sold then that works. Mass production vs. small production.
I don't know how many figures they actually make, so those numbers I used are all made up. But I think you misinterpreted that. If your production run is 50,000 of course you'd only make characters who are main characters who will definitely sell well.

Oo The Monsterarts is one the best series from Tamashii, having a massive fan following. And there are no Monsterarts Zero. The series have about 20 Kaijus that were released, almost all are from Toho. King kong was an exception, although he is basically an American Kaiju, and already made an appearance in the 1964 Toho film 'King kong vs Godzilla'. This year Tamashii introduced the Alien vs Predator releases; The Xenomorph, Predator, and in May Big chap, designed after the original 1979 Alien suit. Battra was also released recently, and all of those Kaijus by Toho are yet to released this year; Mothra, Gigan, Mothra & battra larva form.
