Figure #436: Yajirobe (Buu Saga)Date: June 2014 Creation Time: 3+ Hours Difficulty: 2/10Base: Irwin Series 2 Yajirobe Modifications: Despite being 6 inch scale, the fact it's Yajirobe, that this version is inexpensive, and that I already have all other possible alternative bases on display in other sagas, I'm not feeling picky enough to remove him from my collection, or spending a bunch on another AB or Deago one...especially considering Yajirobe is a round character to begin with. So....here he is. All I did was sculpt what I believe is a fur-vest and drew on a light mustache. Not my best work, as seen by the shading, and the fact that the vest is restricting the neck from coming all the way down, but it'll due. One more off the list.

Love your Yajirobe! I liked it when he had the stash but his voice wasn't as good as it was in the Saiyan and Android Sagas (voice actor change maybe?)

Date: July 2014 Creation Time: 17+ Hours Difficulty: 5/10Head: CP Tien Torso: Irwin Series 3 Krillin Arms: Irwin Energy Glow SS2Vegeta Legs: Bootleg HSCF Tien Modifications: Apoxie locations consist of the back of the head, so he could have a proper neck, the ears, which were made larger and moved forward (they look sorta halfassed) There's apoxie on the shirt to cover his chest, and the belt is made from scratch too. I repainted everything. A 100% repaint. I like him overall. Adds a great touch of history to my Pre-Dragonball section of my collection. Before  After

Thanks, guys. Many pre-dragonball characters had very shory appearances, but were meaningful nonetheless. Think about the Tuffle king, we don't get to see his face ever, but is very important to represent that race. Another is Gero, human form, only appeared in one short flashback. Or how about Garlic or Katas, whom both didn't even move in their sightings and are of no known color. I'll have to paint Garlic with a dark pinkish hue if you know what I mean. Many others are of minor significance in pre-db, but are exciting to make.

He's really nice looking. I kind of have mixed feelings about him though. On the one hand, I wish you sculpted the crotch lower so he wouldn't be all legs. On the other hand, does such a minor character appearance deserve an extra hour of sculpting, sanding, and painting? I think you did such a nice job on him, that the legs being incredibly long really sticks out to me.
