I have Spider-man TAS figures! I could never find a Venom at the store and it bummed me out. My favorite figure was from the water series, I forget what it was called, but it had a Spider-man with a black mask and cool suit. Usually you dread those kind of things when your a kid, but it was my favorite figure. There was a Namor in the wave, so I'd have those guys fight in the water!

I started my collection with G.I. Joe. I'm a late 80's/90's kid so I grew up with them. My adult collection started when the line resurfaced around mid-2000 and I collected the new stuff along with getting old 80's/90's figures along the way.
I'm also an avid Hot Toys collector and have been collecting most of them since the beginning (around the time the AVP Predators and the Superman Returns/Batman Begins figures were first released). I had A LOT along with some Medicom (like Regular and SSJ Goku!) as well. I sold A LOT but have since gotten back into it here and there and pick up quite a bit of pieces. I mostly stick to the Superhero (Marvel & DC) stuff. Spider-man is my favorite superhero so I like Spidey stuff and collect Spidey junk here and there.
Aside from DBZ Figuarts, I'm getting some of the statue here and there. I think I'll stick with the Figuarts for the DBZ action figures as I like poseability. I also get some Revoltech and Figma, mostly their video game stuff (like Link, Mario, etc.) and throwback characters..like the new Revoltech Turtles are AWESOME!
I also collect unique screen-print movie posters. If you've heard of websites like Mondo, Gallery 1988, Bottleneck Gallery, Hero Complex, etc. then you know what I'm talking about.
Sports fan too, so I get a lot of merchandise from my teams, mostly hats and shirts and little odds and ends there.

I collect video game figures and anime figures. In terms of video games, most of them are nintendo based. As for anime, if I watch and love an anime I tend to buy maybe a figma or some chibified versions of them.

Souls.
And decorative wine stoppers with metal bases. I have close to 200 now. I keep about 80 in a display case but I don't currently have any display stands for them so it doesn't look as good as it could. The acrylic stands are so expensive unless you buy 500 -.-. I also have a metal rack that holds 18 that I change with the seasons and/or as I get new ones lol
I'm also starting a Portgas D. Ace figure collection!

I collect a somewhat wide variety of things. Marvel Legends & Marvel Select SH Figuarts DBZ and a few other random DBZ things. Random assorted import figures. Revoltech, PAK, D-Arts, Figuarts, ect., mostly from video games. A bit of NECA stuff from movies and video games. A bit of DCUC and DCC, although not as many as I would like. Toynami's InuYasha line. And just various other things based on cartoons or TV Shows or whatever. I have too much stuff to go into tons of detail I also have some comic books, but I don't actively collect them. I think I've got maybe a few thousand? I dunno, I don't have them cataloged anymore. Oh, and I've got a massive binder of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards, but I don't actively play or collect anymore. I think I stopped around the time they introduced the "level" mechanic. (such as, Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8)

I recently started collecting the old Score DBZ and GT CCG cards. I originally had a little over 3,000 of them; added a couple hundred more over the past month or two.
