I am not a fan of Futurama. Just never got into it like I did the other shows. Plus I don't see why they had to bring it back after it ended the first time either. One I forgot to mention was King of the Hill. Used to get a few good laughs out of that show.

Indeed I found Futurama really great. Who else loved these?

Also, has Spongebob not been mentioned?? I have no clue wtf is going on now with that show, but back in the day that show was hilarious I wasn't going to say anything but yeah...the first three seasons have some good moments (the ugly barnacle comes to mind). I can at least go back and watch some of those episodes and not feel like a complete idiot. Everything after Season 3 though...ugh. It's as if the creators suddenly decided they wanted to use the show to make children dumber.

Haha yeah the first three seasons were the best, I actually have all of those episodes saved on my computer. Even as an adult I can still watch some of those episodes and get a good laugh.
This episode still cracks me up when I see it,

The reruns got very good ratings on Adult Swim, and the DVD's sold well.

Have you ever noticed that every now and then you will be watching one of the Nicktoons thinking this is so for kids and they through in a great adult reference? This is one of my favourite examples from Rocko's Modern Life... ...the catch is that Heffer is a boy lol

Lots of kid's shows do that. It always made me laugh that so many adults were up in arms over Disney but made barely a peep over shows on Nick or Cartoon Network (aside from Ren and Stimpy). Nothing beats Tom and Jerry. I love that cartoon. And Tex Avery cartoons are epic. You are now my soul brother! I love Tax Avery's work, I loved to watch all the old cartoons on Cartoon Network by him, Chuck Jones, Bob Clampett, Merrie Melodies shorts, etc. Wish Boomerang would air those or that I had the channel to begin with to watch Swat Kats:

My mom thinks The Simpsons went a little too far with their references to A Clockwork Orange though. That movie freaks her out. Of course they have done Kubrick a few times now. My favorite has always been The Shinning lol

My favorite has always been The Shinning lol It probably means I'm really simple but I can't see that clip without cracking up...Homer making that crazy face after claiming Marge is a scaredy cat and then screaming when he sees his reflection...the combo of that scream and the crude animation gets me every time.

I totally forgot about Teen Titans. That was a great show. My favorite story line had to be Terra which was based on the DC Comics The Judas Contract storyline.
