I noticed this morning that Yamcha is sold out on Big in Japan. I hope everybody who wanted it got it! In other news, the voting for the contest that makes no difference to any of us, has finished. Future Trunks won as the best figure, followed by the SS Goku many of us don't like, then Bulma, then Lunch. All this proves to me is that if you sculpt Goku, he'll be popular even if his hair is too short and his clothes are damaged, but not his skin Meanwhile, I'm still excited about the figure that got the least votes of any character! Seriously. He got almost 100,000 fewer votes than the 2nd to last place character, which was Pan. And Trunks got almost 400,000 more votes than Yamcha. Since Yamcha was facing Trunks in the contest, that says just how good the Trunks figure is (which it's excellent), but seriously lol...

It's worth mentioning that the sculptor of the winning prototype is rewarded with 1,000,000 yen.

Something I wonder...
Do you think they produce these in different quantities based on how many votes they get...? Votes = demand?
If so, does that mean Yamcha will be a short run since he received fewer votes than any other character in the line?
Or if they make the same amount of each... does that mean that Trunks will be super collectible (future value) because apparently 4 times as many people want it?

It's worth mentioning that the sculptor of the winning prototype is rewarded with 1,000,000 yen. For sculpting an extremely over-done character. Give me a break....

so there's no reason to wait, so don't dilly dally or you'll miss out and end up paying $5... $10... $20 more from somewhere else. I'm actually pretty confident to be able to find the two that I want (Yamcha & manga hair Launch) for 12-18 $. (price in Japan is 1,200 I think.) Also I think I said before, pretty sure that the voting is just how Banpresto are marketing the series. Adam I don't understand... ah?

Well, $15.46 per figure, plus shipping is really good, guaranteed to get the figure and you don't have to search for it, and that's the price from Big in Japan. With the cheapest shipping, it's $22.33 for 1 figure to the USA. For those of us in The USA, that's a really, really good deal. Better than Big Bad Toy Store. Of course, for Yamcha, Lunch, and others now, you can't get them from Big in Japan anymore, so you're stuck searching

I pre-ordered my Figma Guts from big In Japan and it's a great store. bbts are good too, I made an order from them one time for some Black series figures etc. And it's the same shipping price from big In Japan... Is just SCultures series is not that expensive, I don't feel a need to pre-order those, unlike Figma, Tamashii figuers etc... can find them with no problem. s4.postimg.org/je0kku498/image.jpg
