I haven't heard any news or seen anything, but I really hope so. My guess is that we'll not see anything until early 2020.

I haven't heard any news or seen anything, but I really hope so. My guess is that we'll not see anything until early 2020. The Vegeta body is perfect for an armored Gohan, but the Broly movie version colors are a turn down.

I'm assuming that in series 2 we'd end up seeing SSG Goku (a different head but same body) or UI Goku, SSG Vegeta (a repaint), and either Enraged Broly (hopefully scaled and not silly small like SS full power Broly...) or Paragus. But those may only be my own wishful thinking. I don't want them to be done with the Broly movie yet. I want an Enraged Broly (Wrath Broly is another fan name for it) that scales with 5 inch.
I bought an extra SSB Vegeta a few weeks ago just in case they never make a SSG one. I would prefer to customize both Vegetas to be shorter at the same time. And I definitely want a SSG Vegeta in my collection more than SSB in this outfit, due to it being more unique. But both is even better. I'll return or resell the extra one if a SSG one comes out. Why? Because I'd rather be lazy and I'd have a hard time matching the pearl metallic mix for the hair.

Heh heh, Broly, Broly 2?, SS Broly. I just want SSG Vegeta.

This isn't very noteworthy, but this 3-pack will be coming out in the future: It was seen at both the London Toy Fair and the Nuremberg Toy Fair (Nürnberger Spielwarenmesse)

I can see that showing up at someplace like GameStop, hopefully we see it here in the US since they had pretty poor distribution the first time around

I know the New York Toy Fair is still a couple of weekends away, but I was really hoping we'd get leaks of the next series in the Evolve series. I've held off purchasing the current three that are out because I wanted to see the direction they were going to take this line and so far it hasn't looked too promising.

I'm not sure what we'll see. I know Bandai America is going to be at it though.
I was told that the Evolve series was going to eventually have a second wave, but my contact at Bandai never tells me any secret info... unless you consider THAT secret info.
With any luck, we'll see several new DB Evolve figures on display as well as Dragon Stars.

I certainly hope so. I must say though that if the second wave consists of just three figures and one is either a Goku, Vegeta or Broly repaint, I won't give this line a second thought. But if the next wave consists of five or more figures and we get maybe one re-release or repaint, I can forgive that. I'm just hoping that Bandai America shows off something we haven't seen yet.

I'm really hoping that SSB Gogeta is in wave 2. After that, I hope to see SSG Vegeta, UI Goku, enraged Broly in full armor, and I guess Golden Frieza or Paragus.
I'm not sure what we can expect though... I just hope it continues. And I hope they continue to make the characters from the Broly movie. And then make Universe 6 characters...

I don't have any news, however, I did spot a Broly and Vegeta about a week ago at my local Walmart, and a Goku at my Gamestop, both places have em for around $9.99 and I believe Amazon finally started stocking them. So hopefully with the improved distribution more people can get these, and if more people get em, hopefully Bandai will do a wave 2

Bandai America posted this photo of the next wave of Evolve today:
I love the UI Goku, but I sure hope that Jiren will be bigger than that. His knees are bent, but it's making me think his legs might be a bit short...? I think Figuarts collectors are going to go crazy over that Golden Frieza, because if he's produced at the size shown here... he's going to scale with Figuarts instead of Evolve. The Figuarts Golden Frieza already scales with Evolve, and is smaller than the one in the image.
I'm really excited the UI Goku has fists instead of kamehameha hands like the SSB Goku he shares some body parts with. Jiren's knees are definitely bent in the photo... so hopefully standing straight up, he'll be closer to a head taller than Goku (plus or minus). The Golden Frieza will be excellent for customizing into Meta Cooler and 4th form Cooler! His size is definitely not a problem for that!
Here's DB Evolve SSB Goku next to Figuarts Golden Frieza for reference.
It's also obvious that the elbows on UI Goku are a different design than SSB Goku's. I wonder why they chose to go with a design more similar to 1990s X-men figures?
Overall... I'm super excited about UI Goku and Jiren... but I won't have a use for Golden Frieza since he is so large.
Edit: Here's a quick edit that shows Frieza on the same level of ground as Jiren and Goku:

I'm VERY excited about the surprise of seeing new figures for this line! I created these comparisons. Here's waves 2 and 1 together.
Jiren's knees are slightly bent, so he may not be as small as he seems. If anything, his legs are just a little short. The upper body, arms, and head seem like a good size.
Golden Frieza is way too large compare to all of these, but if he is produced at this odd size, I believe Figuarts collectors are going to want him. The Figuarts Golden Frieza is smaller than this DB Evolve figure. This Frieza would be useful for customizing into Meta Cooler or Cooler at this size. Ultra Instinct Goku looks perfect.
SSB Goku was nearly perfect. A little difficult to pose the arms without them looking awkward, but nearly perfect.
SSB Vegeta was nearly perfect. He has a slightly long torso, long boots, and long forearms.
SS Broly was tiny. A cool figure, but... ridiculously small. They even had to make his head (face) a little smaller than Goku and Vegeta's because of how small they made him.
Let's look closer...! UI Goku and SSB Goku These two are obviously based on the same design... and that's a good thing! That means they will scale identically! The hair on the UI Goku looks great. The arms are a new design with a much different form of elbow articulation. The shoulder articulation looks similar to SSB Goku's. He has fists, so hopefully the skin color will match SSB Goku so hands can be swapped between the two figures! The legs look like a revised design and look great.
Golden Frieza and SSB Vegeta
Not directly comparable, but I needed something to compare with Golden Frieza. Frieza has a much larger head to scale with his much-too-large body. Like UI Goku, Frieza's elbow articulation isn't the same style as Vegeta's. Overall, the sculpt is VERY good for Frieza... even if the legs might me slightly short. It's just a shame he is going to not match the scale of most of the other figures in this line. He's too big. He will likely scale well with Figuarts since Figuarts' Golden Frieza is smaller than this.
Given that this is a hand-painted prototype for promotional purposes, I bet the production version will have swivel articulation at the upper shoulder like Vegeta does. I also understand that it's possible that the photographer didn't want to squeeze Frieza's shin pieces together, because they'd have to damage the paint job to split them apart again. Jiren (final battle) and SS Broly
Jiren's face and upper body look awesome. His legs are bent and his upper body is slightly leaning forward, so it's difficult to tell what his real height is. He should perhaps be a bit taller than he appears in this photo... but I don't know how much of this is due to the perspective we can see, and how much of it is due to the legs possibly being a bit short. He looks to have a superior shoulder articulation style over the style that was used on Broly. Broly has very unusual, hollow shoulders that you can see inside of at certain angles. Jiren's shoulders look like they might not be done the same way... or perhaps they are just done better, since his trap muscles hide the top of them. Overall, I think Jiren looks excellent. And even if the legs are a little short... that is not too difficult to modify.
It would (hopefully) be possible to put Jiren's upper body on Broly's legs and hips too... if you really wanted to add some height...
