chaotic the body is pretty good other than the small hands and big ankles. If you use the fists, it won't be obvious that the fingers are short. The open hands that Krillin comes with have too short of fingers to look right. I don't like swappable hands, so I don't think I care. I plan on using my dremel on the white sock portion of his feet in the future... and to do the same to get rid of the blue around the ankles (if there's orange plastic underneath). Naturally, I'll have to repaint the skin a consistent color. Overall, it's definitely the easiest and best option for a 5 inch scale Yamcha there is, because it takes the least amount of work. The most intense amount of work is using one of the Demoniacal Fit neck pegs (that comes with the Yamcha/Tien kit) and converting Krillin's neck to work with that. I don't remember what it involved, but it wasn't THAT big of a deal.

It took me forever to get around to it but I finally got around to my own pictures of the newest wave of Dragon Ball evolve figures
I really like the base Goku still
The base Vegeta is all right but I feel that head's a little small and the neck is a little too long, but putting the head from the Walmart Super Saiyan Vegeta really does makes it look much better imo
SSJ3 Goku is pretty good it's probably got one of the best Super Saiyan 3 hair sculpts but something about the face still seems off I'm not sure.
A Jakks Mystic Gohan head on the SSJ3 body kinda works, but it certainly doesn't scale with Jakks proper anymore.
And then I tried putting the Dragon Stars Gohan heads on the SSJ3 and Vegeta body and I think it looks alright
Seems to scale okay with a figuarts

That Jakks Mystic Gohan/Ultimate Gohan head on the SS3 body looks better than I expected it to!

Oh yeah, I was pleasantly surprised, the colors are a tad off but I guess paint could fix that, size too but depending on where you put it, it probably can be fudged

Evolve actually were at SDCC 2024... it's just that it seems like only 1 person at the entire show actually took a video or photo of them. I can see why though. It's just old stuff. They appear at the very end of this very good video: If you look carefully at the video, you'll notice that the Walmart SS Gohan figure has belled thighs just like (I think) every one I've seen. I even saw around 7 of them at a Walmart last weekend, and they all had this casting flaw. Their Target Gohan figure has normal looking thighs like at least half of them do. I haven't seen Gohan at the two Targets I visit in months though. Hopefully everybody got them while they could. His body is a great upgrade to the Walmart one... just swap the heads... the skin and paint colors are identical. Here's a screenshot of everything they had on display for Evolve. I haven't seen these keychains in real life or in any comparison pics, but they might have 4 inch scale heads... a little too small for 5 inch scale since most of these are adults and the smaller characters like Pan and Hedo have even smaller bodies. An ebay seller claims they are 1.5 inches tall, but did not show them next to a ruler. However, these Daima keychains, since the characters are almost all children and appear to have bodies to scale with their heads, might be the closest Bandai product shown at SDCC for Daima at 5 inch scale. I'd be fine just buying these, assuming they are close enough to 5 inch scale... but they might still be a bit small. I don't know...

Imagine if they decide to release the Daima Goku, Vegeta and Piccolo figures instead of Black and other good DBS characters like I don’t know, Zamasu or Hit

Yoru the Shipgirl I will be extremely annoyed if they do that. I want SS Rose Goku Black, Zamasu, Android 17 in MIR shirt, SS2 Kefla, SS2 Kale, SS2 Caulifla, Beast Gohan, etc. so bad. We also need a base form Future Trunks and Goku Black as store exclusives so they don't take up an annual spot, if they continue to only make 3 characters each year. Since SS3 Goku, Goku, and Vegeta came out so much earlier than previous waves of Evolve, I am hopeful that we will see 3 more characters before December. I don't know if it'll happen though (especially since we didn't see new characters on display at SDCC last weekend). The same team of people are obviously the ones also making Demon Slayer and Naruto figures for Bandai. The Naruto and Demon Slayer figures don't sell well at the Target I go to every week or two, and I constantly see the same Naruto and Demon Slayer figures on the pegs at the store. I wish they'd focus on DB Evolve more, since it seems like (to me) they sell more consistently. I see DB stuff sell at the Target I go to most often, but all of the Demon Slayer and Naruto stuff typically just sits there month after month. I doubt all stores are like this, but that's the deal with mine...

Bandai's post today on Facebook gives me the impression that Series 1 of Evolve might be getting re-released: "Now there's even more characters to collect! Bring the Dragon Ball world home with these Dragon Ball Evolve 5-inch collectible figures! Perfect for pose, play and display!" If they did re-release them, I would hope that they'd paint the missing details on their boots and such. Their image doesn't give any evidence of changes though. This may not be noteworthy news... or may not be news at all. It just might be a pretty image.

Its how I got my SSB Goku/Vegeta and Broly. Theres no changes deco wise but these feel a bit better constructed than the older Evolve waves from what I remember.

In late October 2024 or early November 2024, the Walmart Exclusive SS Vegeta (from 2 years ago) was rereleased. It has several qualities that make it a variation, so there are now 3 variations of that figure (as a release). 1st version: no Walmart sticker, same figure as 2nd version 2nd version: Walmart sticker, same figure as 1st version. Technically the same release as the 1st version, just later in time. 3rd version: The text and some design elements on the packaging are different, the figure has bigger pupils (on the two I have seen) The 2nd version (on the left) has the Walmart sticker on top of the plastic clamshell's edge. It has "2022" as part of the text on the lower left of the package. The 3rd version (on the right) has the Walmart logo printed on the cardboard and underneath the clamshell's edge. It has "Made in China" as part of the text on the lower left of the package. The back of the packaging on the 3rd release has a ton of text. And, at least on the 2 figures (3rd version) I saw, the pupils on Vegeta are located a bit carelessly, and they are significantly larger. Original release from 2022: Rerelease from 2024 (two samples I have seen): I believe that the Target Exclusive SS Goku was also rereleased, because I found one in late October 2024, and it has a similar amount of writing on the back of the package (if I remember right). I'll have to double check. I've seen a few more in Target stores too, so I think it has been reissued. I haven't checked the packaging on the series 3 rereleases that have been showing up at Target and Walmart stores, but SSB Gogeta, UI Sign Goku, and SS Future Trunks are plentiful. I'll look at the packaging next time I go shopping and report back on whether or not their cardboard has a ton of text on the back or not. I haven't noticed any obvious variations on the figures, but I haven't compared them side-by-side with their 2021 original release versions either.

Can confirm both the SS exclusives were rereleased, I just saw SS Goku’s en masse at my Target.
