There's a funny story behind these two latest purchases. First one: Banpresto Homura Akemi (Black Dress version)  Now, I think it's decently known that I'm not one for collecting statues as I personally prefer articulated figures. However, back in 2014, this one caught my eye and actually did make me spend more than a passing glance at looking at it. I got interested enough in it that I decided to place a pre-order for one. Sadly though, I had to cancel her due to wanting to save money for Broly and another order I had at AmiAmi. Now here comes the funny part. I'm browsing Buyee for any cheap things I could pick up and maybe sell down the line. Lo and behold, I come across a few of these statues selling at pretty low compared to what retail was asking, so I went "why the hell not" and placed a bid in. A small bidding war ensued and I actually ended up winning one for under retail price. So now it turns out she'll be my first anime related statue that I've ever purchasing. Crazy. Now this next one is just ridiculous. BearBrick Homura Akemi by Medicom  Final winning price not including fees? Practically less than 0.01! 1 yen! I only bid on the auction with 8 hours to go, thinking that probably someone else would eventually snap it up but no way, I actually won her for a ridiculously cheap price. |

I definitely have no plans of buying anything else until Saiyen is repaid now. I de-linked anything associated with my Paypal account for safe measures as well. I like and respect Saiyen and I know I haven't done the best in terms of repayment, which really hurts me as well. |
