So, my Final Form Freeza (OG) just arrived and I was planning on taking some pictures of him, but stopped dead in my tracks after realizing the tail (the strangling one) is two different colors. Everything else seems legitimate about him, but I'm not 100% certain if it's got a half DATONG tail part. The reason I say this is because (ever since I realized bootlegs contain unhealthy materials) I've wanted a 100% official collection and this may put a dent in it. That and I don't really think lead poisoning is the way I want to die.

Have you considered just getting the new Frieza? It looks a lot better than the old one (to me at least).

Unless I'm SOL and can't afford the original, which happened for Trunks and Vegeta. Got the PC ones before thr originals.

Quick little pro-tip for tightening joints (not sure how good it is but, you can correct me if it sucks): if you don't have pledge or anything akin to it, sketch/notebook paper works. I've used it on my OG SS Vegeta and Freeza's legs and it works wonders. Initially, Freeza was the Demoniacal Fit Ginyu on steroids when it came to loose joints but now he's a lot better than how he was yesterday. Now, if I could only figure out how to get him to stop falling over, he'd be a borderline perfect figure. Cell's reign shall come to an end once (Oh my Lord) Freeza's able to stand. So... use some paper for your loose joints. It doesn't eat away at the plastic or anything, jusy rip a small enough to fit in the joint piece off, then shove it in the joint that isn't functioning properly. Also worked with my SS3 Goku's waist. Poor bastard went through a lot in his life.

"Nice work, Cell. Though, if you could, please lower him for me."

So, I've decided to step away from the Goku port for a bit, not cancelling it just yet, but some technical issues in weight painting lead to me not really caring to reset the entire model as far as the bone setup goes. As of the moment, I'm working on improvising the car models made by the Danish Master on GarrysMods. I'm using his car models, as he's the only one I've been able to find decent sports car models by. Not perfect by any means necessary, I wish the doors would open, but since they're for GMod, I guess beggars can't be choosers. Otherwise, what I'm working on improvising would be the ambient occlusion (the stuff that gives models shadows in 3D animations, AKA: AO), and so far I've gotten the Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport's AO fixed. Here's what I mean by the AO issues: What I'm trying to fix becomes evidently clear with this image.

Well, I have some good news and bad news (relating to my collection). The good? I loosened up my NECA Team Fortress 2 BLU soldier figure to where I could move his joints (because initially, he was so stiff that I couldn't move him). The bad? His knee's gonna break off if I move it too much now...

Finally fixed some AO on the Danish Master's cars. The ones I've done so far (successfully at least) are: 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 2002 Lamborghini Murcielago 2003 Pagani Zonda 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo And a small little test render of the Scout in his new ride: (yes, I am aware of the hollow spots on the model, problem is I don't know how to fix that, so that's kinda how it's stuck for now. Oof)

So, uhh... anyone know how to fix stiff joints on NECA figures? Just got my RED TF2 Heavy in and I can only move this much:
-Head up/down -Shoulders (fine, but paint chips out) -Elbow swivel -Wrist swivel -Waist (fine) -Left thigh (fine) -Left knee (fine, little stiff but still moves decently enough)
The rest is literally so stiff I cannot move it. ESPECIALLY the feet. Word is that there is so much paint in the joints that they're basically fused together.
