If you don't mind the box coming kind of squashed, ordering one from Barnes and Noble like I did with a 20% off coupon (or 15% one) is a decent deal. I got mine. It was a bit smashed. But for around $40 it was a good deal. This figure looks so much better than the original. The hips are not perfect looking, but I don't think Frieza needed a 2.0 to fix him. He just needed better faces and shoulders and they fixed those.

◄VR► great review again. You do a good job! I can actually sit through your entire reviews, unlike almost every other figure review I've ever watched!  I'm now more tempted to actually open my Frieza's package and display him. I do own Awakening SS Goku, so perhaps I should open him as well.

axelrules I don't know, but they put the figure in a cardboard foldable thing without any bubble wrap or anything and the cardboard foldable thing is meant for a book and the figure barely fits in it. So it doesn't matter who handles the package, it's going to come squished.

So, I snagged my Frieza from my local GameStop. No one buys them from there, so Tien and Nappa (and at one point, Trunks) just sat there. Tien and Nappa are next.  |

Hey, sorry to revive such an old thread, but I just got this guy in the mail today, and I'm noticing that, unlike a lot of reviews stated, you can actually put the halo accessory in any of his heads, you just have to swap the purple top of his head, which is a separate piece from the rest of the head, which is a softer material. However, I'm having a LOT of trouble removing the pieces in order to display him with the halo on one of the other heads, but I can tell it is in fact a peg lodged into a socket of some kind underneath the hollow purple plate. I'm afraid to break anything or chip the paint or anything like that, but I'd like to be able to use this feature that is shown on the instructions. Has anyone been able to do this?

Didn't anybody look at the instructions?  Alright, well... I managed to get two out of three of them off, after three rounds of boiling and prying... and one of the two had the peg snap off. But given how difficult it was, that may not be such a bad thing... Here are some pictures of the, er, innards... (Pretty huge images, sorry, they're direct from my phone) Was it worth it?
