I have a feeling that you might be able to pry the original Super Saiyan Goku's (or anyone else using that mold) arms off and swap them with this guy's arms. They are a bit slimmer.

As a fan of the SH Godzilla line, i'm not shocked to see them take an easier route for a figure. They are infamous for repainting the same body over and over for different figures. I'm actually shocked it's not done more for this line as well.

Honestly this figure is not necessarily bad; it's just overpriced and inaccurate. If the Gi was a bit more orange toned, I wouldn't even care about how bulky it is, I just dislike yellow-Gi Goku :/
But honestly, how many collectors are NOT going to buy this? Probably most will still take the plunge ahha

I really like how this figure looks. I remember a lot of people not liking how the form was so skinny, so I thought a lot of people would be happy with this. Clearly, I thought wrong! I prefer him to be more muscular. I actually wish he was more muscular than SSJ3 since he's combined with the rest of the Saiyans.
I'm happy though! But, man oh man...that's pretty expensive. Pretty, really expensive. If it wasn't for anime-island I wouldn't get it, but I bought it for 17% percent off at Anime Island. We have to wait longer than most to get our figures if we order from their, but it's worth the savings!

Barnes and Nobel was nice and gave me their promotion poster of this figure... It is a must have. Though I must say the first prototype did look spot on. Nonetheless this figure is a must have!

Im thinking of getting this one only if I can put the head on the original non-super saiyan son Goku that I have, like many people have done with customs of SSG Goku

looks like we can do head switches with this one, yes!!! so i guess im gonna need 6 ouch. base, super saiyan, super saiyan 3, ssg, ssgss, to keep in box.

hate to say it but there's always a chance the reviewers just placed the SSGSS head on top of the neck without using the neck peg. It would be seriously great if they went back to the old neck peg, though.

This is true, especially since all the new figures are now using different neck pegs. also out of topic. anyone else not liking the new box styles for the figures? i liked the one where its pixilized and it shows the figure on the other side. |
