Those don’t look too hot
Not digging them tryna incorporate the 2.0 Figuarts articulation on figures of this quality
The split for the torso joint looks a little weird like Figure Rise Standard
Time will tell if these improve from the prototypes though

Those look a heck of a lot better than the current and previous Dragon Stars!! Their prototypes look janky though, like... I think Broly stubbed his toe. But I have to say... Broly is way smaller than Vegeta there so I bet he scales with 5 inch figures!!! Adrenaline PGV ssj2dakota Edit: Wait a minute. Why does it say 5" Figures instead of Dragon Stars?!?!?! Is this a different line?! These figures don't have exposed joints! These must be different?! It doesn't look like the people who posed them did a very good job. The SS3 Goku prototype looks cool, but we should not expect it to actually have cool, pointy hair... Cell is looking great. The Cell really looks great! Here's pics of the Limit Breakers that are 12 to 13 inches tall. I think it's funny that these Bandai America lines of figures seem to start with Goku and Vegeta, and they pretty much half ass them, and then the other figures in the line end up much better looking. This Goku's body is so boring. Meanwhile the Frieza looks fantastic... even if his head doesn't look like Golden Frieza at all.

I knew you'd lose your mind. Bandai previously had a $10 Power Rangers line which was 5 inches and intended primarily for kids in addition to larger $20 figures which were collector geared, so it looks like they're trying the same strategy here after their other kids based efforts have failed.

YES! 5 INCH MOVIE BROLY, NOT BAF, JUST BROLY. Oh my god, you can not believe how happy I was when I saw the card say 5 inch Figures.

I'm losing my mind. I tracked down the brand manager and some other people for Bandai America and sent them emails. I hope they give us some good news!

Oh wow, I hadn't even caught the lack of visible joints and the different name-- this may totally be a different line... Wow that's wild! Since the Dragon Stars often tend to be just slightly large to scale with SHF, I'm excited for the customizing possibilities, even if they may end up too small to be the actual characters they are (but, yknow, maybe a teenage Goten out of a Goku or somethin' like that). I'm excited!

Found more pics! link These poor 5" prototypes got drunk before the fair. Poor Vegeta is now down, and on the floor. The Broly will be too small for 5 inch scale, but would be excellent for a fairly easy shirtless Nappa custom I think. The Dragon Stars Broly (when it comes out) should be a good 5" scale size, so this doesn't concern me at all. The Vegeta seems rather long limbed, but shortening those might be possible. Goku looks fine. I can't wait for this line of figures! I hope they will make all sorts of DB Super and Broly movie characters in 5 inch scale! I got a reply from one of the people I emailed. It was Derrick from the Dragon Stars blog page. I also invited him to make an account here, so he could post news directly!

Very cool that you thought to reach out and email Derrick at Bandai, even cooler that he replied so swiftly.

Maybe he'll give us updates directly. That sure would be nice. I enjoy hunting for news, but it's even better when I don't have to.
