What do i do now? Do I sell my Jakks Form 1 Freeza? Might as well, the value will probably go down after this one releases. If you care about scaling w/the other Irwin and Jakks figures then maybe you should wait and see just how tall this one ends up being. |

You know, what the heck Dragon Stars?! What do you have against my poor defenseless wallet?
I both love and despise the fact that they're branching off to the rest of the series. I love it cause I'm more interested in getting some updates on classic characters, and filling holes in my figuarts collection. But I hate it, because now I can't skip out on this line. Fingers crossed that they make some much needed improvements on articulation, especially in the hips.

im not collecting dragons stars but this wave looks pretty good and its a good alternative for people who didgnt get SHF 17
and some exclusives like SSJ4, Freeza 1stForm or Gotenks SSJ3

Biggest issue, as always, is gonna be scale. If those images are anything to go by, Gohan is almost the same height as Cell, and that's not acceptable even for someone who isn't huge on scale like me. Now, that COULD be just the way the image was edited, but Dragon Stars is notorious for being WILDLY out of scale with its figures.
I REALLY hope it's better than it looks.

I wouldn't count on them looking that much different in real life than the way they are scaled here via someone putting them together in Photoshop.  I don't know this line very well since the only one I have is Berzerk Kale, but those hands look like they might all be the same mold (except Kid Buu's). If that's the case, then I would say Gotenks is exactly the size he's going to look next to Cell... Kid Buu might be that size... and SS2 Gohan might be slightly smaller, putting him ridiculously at the same height as SS3 Gotenks. SS3 Goku and Piccolo are going to look like that next to each other... Android 17 will be slightly larger... Frieza will unfortunately be THAT large. Adrenaline, Cell might be potentially interesting for an Irwin/Jakks collection. I doubt it though. I would suspect that this one will be larger than the Figuarts one, which was already a little large for an Irwin/Jakks collection. I'm suspecting that Figuarts collectors are really going to like that Piccolo, because he's likely larger than the too-small Figuarts one. The Figuarts one is only a good height for Saiyan Saga. If I was a heavy Figuarts collector, I'd be excited about Cell. |

Thanks dragon Stars why don't you make all the charters I sell customs of and just put me out of business. (but for this line they look pretty good, might have to pick up a few)

Disappointed on the scale of these. Why can't they ever make small characters small like Irwin did(for the most part)?

ToadKart Might be worth seeing if that SS3 Gotenks body will work for a 5 inch scale Gogeta. It has child-like proportions though, so it may not be a great base.

What a shame. Those look nice and simple like the good old days, but yes, the scale....scale, scale, scale. Always comes back to haunt us. Based on the fact the 17 looks a little smaller scaled than the rest, I feel the others are exactly as they appear. Cell could be good. Gohan, no way. No one has ever made an accurately scaled SS2 Kid Gohan. The Real Works ones were the closest. That Frieza neck.  |

Broly's chest looks like it's about to slip in half, lol! If the 12th is Gogeta then Ill be picking it up for sure. So Im guessing this is a mid Jan-Feb wave?
