While looking for the new wave I found a Trunks and Hit at Walgreens. I already have Hit. But I finally have Trunks after passing him up the first time I saw him months ago. Merged Zamasu is now complete.

Merged Zamasu is now complete. I've hit up a bunch of stores looking for this wave. Walgreens, Gamestop, Barnes & Noble, and Best Buy have all had Dragon Stars, but it's always series 1 figures. The one exception was a Walgreens yesterday which had two Cabbas. |

Usually just SS Vegeta and an occasional Goku. I did find a Frieza today which I picked up since I don't usually see him, so if anyone wants that let me know. Otherwise I'll just reurn it. |

Branjita Cabba is shorter than Vegeta, so he'd require MAJOR shortening. His legs look abnormally long, so there is a chance this could work for us. He'll need a new head for sure because that hideous thing he has on his neck right now is too large for even Figuarts scale. Jiren is too tall, but could be salvageable in a good pose. Better chance I'd get him than Cabba, but I'd want to shorten him, too.

I’ll usually forgive a little scale issue, but Cabba is WAY tall. It’s as egregious as Hit’s white face and ears, except I can fix paint issues. I’m less confident about sculpt changes. Anyway, check my custom thread for Hit with a pink face and ears!

That’s pretty dope. They gotta work on the faces though, they look odd. And lots of times remind me of the faces in Robot Chicken.

Not sure if I’m more mad that I won’t be able to get SSG Goku or if I’m more mad that the figure is just a repaint of normal Goku, when SSG is supposed to be slimmer.

I got Cabba and SSB Vegito last night just because the BAF Berzerk Kale visually looks like it may be a better Irwin/Jakks scale Berzerk Kale to me than my plan of using AB Broly and making a custom. Cabba is pretty narrow shouldered, so he might actually work for 5 inch scale with a lot of cutting. I'll have to do research. His head is terrible. I have a Jiren being held (supposedly) for me at a different Gamestop I can go to after work.

TDC made a chart for Super characters from Universe 6: the-devils-corpse.deviantart.com/art/DBR-Team-Universe-6-U6-665409843He's usually pretty precise (other than us disagreeing about Goku and Vegeta growing over the course of the series (my opinion) vs. different art style (his opinion)). I've cropped it to the most important references for me.  When I get home, I'll be able to determine whether or not Cabba can be cut down to Irwin/Jakks scale or not. Based solely on this, I don't think he can be. The little fella is puny. I'll likely be able to tell if Berzerk Kale will scale well based on her torso which came with either Cabba or SSB Vegito. I can't think of any anime characters off the top of my head that are very small and puny like that. If anybody can think of any (that have existing, inexpensive, 3.5 inch tall figures) let me know. The closest I can think of is Shu from Blue Dragon. |
