Got my hands on Trunks, he's got some problems, especially with how the drop down hips work, but overall he's much better than the first two waves. Almost got Super Saiyan Blue Goku, but unfortunately someone beat me to him a couple hours earlier. Once I get him, I'm going to sell my Figuarts SSB Goku. No Hit period.       Just a reminder, the hilt on Trunks' sheath doesn't come off, but it only took like 10 minutes to slice it off, drill two holes, and add a peg, so it was a non issue for me. |

Yes it is, while not the most accurate reference, the side of the box specifically uses a Super Saiyan Rage Trunks picture. However, while the front of the hair is mostly accurate, the back looks like his normal Super Saiyan hair, where as it should just be all spikey. Like so  This one still has the most accurate Super Saiyan Rage head sculpt.   |

They should have used the correct name on the box, knowing it's SSR makes the hair sculpt more acceptable.
Also, I've been keeping the boxes just because I really like whoever is doing the character art lol

Even thought he is the weakest part of the wave Trunks dosen't look that bad to be honest.

I think my biggest problem, aside from the sculpt because that's easily one of the worst sculpts of the wave, is the fact that it's not even consistent with the other figures. The other SSJ figures, even SSJB Goku and Vegeta, have this nifty shiny paint job that's just absolutely cool looking and is IMHO, better than anything Figuarts has done thus far in terms of hair paint.

Yeah, I was pretty confused by that as well. What makes it weirder is that SSB Goku follows the first waves trend, by having the same kind of metallic paint, only blue. But Trunks is noticably just flat yellow, which sucks cause he would have looked pretty cool with the metallic. I just hope Blue Vegeta and Rose' Black stay consistent and keep with the metallic trend, otherwise that's going to be a major turn off for these guys. Then again, Figuarts did the same thing with their two Super Saiyan Blues, and I still bought them. |

bought the trunks myself, not a a big fan of the hair like everyone, sculpt kinda reminds me of french fries, the color is just so flat. but its the only dbs trunks out there so got it anyway

Man, Trunks is my favorite Dragon Ball character but that hair really bothers me. The face is ok, though, so maybe if they do a base-form Trunks I'll pick that up, just to give the line a shot
