I can agree with that, to a point anyway. I've never been huge on the Whis training outfits for Goku and Vegeta (I'm glad they went back to more iconic outfits, even if I personally prefer Buu Goku to Super Goku) but the figuarts figure REALLY dropped the ball in terms of the color choices. You can rag on the lack of shading on these guys (and the two I am buying have it the probably the worst of the 6 figure Merged Zamasu wave) but I can honestly say Goku here has better color choices and paint apps than the figuarts version. Trunks is also solid, and he's SSJ so it removes my biggest problem with that version of the character. Neither are for me, but they're both good.
Real talk though... I hate hate HATE the wave system Bandai has adopted. It's pure nonsense. I just... no. All six figures are on the boxes, all six share a single BaF... it's a freaking wave you stupid stupid toy company. I'm just going to use ML/DCUC terminology and refer to the complete waves by their BAF.
Concerning the next *full* wave though, I've been looking ahead a bit... the Merged Zamasu wave will hit sometime in march, which (assuming there's no weeks off) is around the time SSJ Rose first appears in the series. If we're looking at a similar 5-6 month-ish timeline, we're looking at the next wave hitting after the Future Trunks saga ends, but before we've delved very deep into the Universal Survival arc (we MIGHT be starting the preliminaries when the wave hits). A lot is going to depend on how soon the next wave comes out, and then how far ahead they want to cover. We *might* even get a wave covering characters from Universe 6 (Champa, Caaba, Frost) before going nuts with the Universal Survival characters, especially with fan favorites like the baseball episode reuniting us with Universe 6 hitting around the time the wave comes out.
Regardless of anything though, 2 of the figures will be SSJ Blue Vegeta and Goku in their regular outfits. Each full wave has had at least one of each, and it's a variant the line kinda needs. Another easy choice, whenever they get to her, is a SSJ Berserk Kale BaF. She's a well loved character, she's the perfect size for a BaF, and she'll sell entire waves if they do her justice.
