The Frieza in his chair is kind of cool, it's a shame it isn't 5 inch scale. If it was, it would take less work to customize into looking like a great display piece than anything else. I don't like the model kit look of these overall (and yeah, I know they are model kits). The Android 18 looks great! The Mr. Satan and Master Roshi need to be thrown in the trash, I absolutely hate them both, especially Mr. Satan. It's repulsive. I don't like the plastically model-kit look either, I'll probably re-paint them with an air brush, a la Gunpla.

prodigy1367 They might not be considered a competition now by many but if they improve their figure molds, including improved faces with better paint job overall I'm sure the ones ignoring them now would take notice then. However, the point i wanted to stress on the most was why Bandai decided to release a separate articulated figure line which has introduced figures such as Mr Satan and Roshi when figuarts still has not got them released and perhaps never will? Why can't they just put all their funds and pump up the shfiguarts line? We are already hoping and wanting so many character releases from figuarts which i don't think is going to be possible and I'm comparing this to Jakks and Irwins releases. I know they won't be able to top the Jakks and Irwins but looking at the way things are moving at present, they won't even be able to come close to it and then boom comes figure rise standard with Satan and Roshi. antzcorton Yes, I agree on that, the improved space pod looks amazing! Haha Branjita you and me both. I still wonder how would that pod look in the 5inch collection. Have to admit that there is some good improvement from the first prototype pic, It definitely looks better. Imagine if this would not be on the release list and all you had was that bottle cover Frieza pod to customize which is bigger than this. I'm curious to know if this Frieza would be a removable one with a added standing leg option or will it just be a non articulated show piece like the Vegeta in the pod.

No release date as of yet. You'll have to just control that excitement for now. It sure is an important piece to add to the collection after all the mischief it's done in Dragon Ball Super, a must have in the DBS colelction. Sad that i can't add it to the collection myself as I don't have enough space for such a big piece, not even for the Irwin one.

To capitalize on the Dragon Ball popularity and create a market for model-kit collectors. Says who? Tamashii Nations is just starting to put a lot of time and effort into the Dragon Ball Z Character Categories. They plan on continuing them for at least 5 - 10 more years. We can't question who they will and won't make when Tamashii Nations themselves have no end in sight. Tamashii Nations has multiple series that are part of their S.H. Figuarts line. It's not just secluded to Dragon Ball. Why are we comparing model-kits, (mostly) solid figures, and slightly articulated figures* to highly articulated quality action figures?
