Just got this awesome manga, for those who can't read portuguese it's the story called: "That time I got reincarnated as Yamcha". It's not cannon, it's more like a sidestory/spin off for the fanbase, written by Garow Lee. I had already read it in the past, but when hono told me that Panini had released an official version of it in Brazil, i went ahead and bought it. It comes with a cool bookmarker as well. Orange Piccolo is in da house. I loved the figure! Unfortunately, this should be one of the last purchases for my collection. The president here in Brazil (Lula, who should be in prision due to his crimes) set a 92% tax rate for importation, and you just can't scape it. They developed a program in which the import fees are charged at the moment of the purchase, even on aliexpress stuff. The brazilian stores receive a very limited amount of pieces, and the company that imports them is running a monopoly, since there's no competition with foreign companies now. Prices have risen a lot and stocks are running out as quickly as I've never seen before. I spent about 30~40% more on Gohan beast/Orange Piccolo than what I used to pay before. And I refuse to keep doing that. Hard times for brazilian collectors.   |

Sorry to hear that Brazil is causing you so much monetary pain right now. But Orange Piccolo seems like a pretty good last figure to get for a while!

The government's justification of this ridiculous tax rate is that they're trying to protect national industry. But instead of cutting national fees, they increase the internacional ones. We're totally inefficient due to bureaucracy and stuff. The goods that our industry already produces here are going up in price, since there's no competition whatsoever. And other goods like the bandai figures, are never and will never be produced here. But that's just a little part of we're suffering here. Each day things are getting worse, with censorship and other stuff going on. Sorry to go off topic here, but since it affects my collection, I felt free to share the reason why I'm slowing it down for a good time now. And yeah, Orange Piccolo is just awesome! very solid figure. |
