Like I said, I'm into ignorant rap. Juicy J has been one of my favorites for a long time, he leads all ignorant rappers . Future is alright, he's good at making hooks lol. 2 Chainz is alright, Flocka is trash, A$AP is alright, Lil Wayne is trash. I named a bunch of the good rappers a week or so ago on this thread, sounds like you're listening to the radio a lot to come up with those names Nope...I just have a coworker that has no concept of what good rap actually is and a never ending desire to play her favorite songs through the speakers we have where I work...I rarely willingly listen to the radio. I mean...why do you enjoy it? I'm not looking to make a big deal out of it, I'd just like an outside view.

Why do I enjoy it? Hmm... I guess because I relate to it better than any other music. I like the sick beats, with witty lines displayed in a nice flow over the beat. It's like poetry in my eyes

hmmm...I see. I can't say I'd agree as I have a very different idea of what can be poetic in rap but to the other thing...I guess that's all it ever boils down to, the beats. Can't argue with that, I hear a lot of incredible beats these days...it's just the rappers on them...Idk, sometimes I get obsessed thinking about how much better songs would be if skilled lyricists were in higher demand.

As far as recent hip hop goes I really dig this song. I think this is why I like Eminem because of the mentoring of Dr Dre...

There's plenty of good lyricists over sick beats. If your only source is your friend at work, you can't go by that Who knows what he's listenin' to. If there's a decent rapper out I know 'em, and it's hard to compare one artist to another. My top 5 could all be considered the best of their "genre" of rap. It's not hard to be lyrical, anyone can write decent "rhymes", it's how you flow with it and put it on the beat, as well as the consistency of what's being said. Where you think 2 Chainz is trash, I think 2 Chainz is very lyrical and deserves attention. Kanye signed him for a reason And as for Eminem @aussiedcfan , I've never really liked him that much. He's alright if he's serious, but when he acts immature I can't stand it. There's a big difference between immature and ignorant Kendrick Lamar is with Dre as well, and he's a good example of a lyricist being high in demand.

I don't mind the comedy raps by Eminem but yeah I do like it more when he is serious too as he is in I Need a Doctor.

I'm not huge into rap, but I definitely like some. Lil Wayne gets sh!tted on all the time, lol. But I like him. My friend got me into some Mac Miller, and he's pretty good smoking music. Eminem is the top rapper in my book, though. Other than that, I don't listen to anybody in particular. If I hear a song I like, I download it and bump that sh!t.
This is my current jam.

A Mac Miller song came out today "Spent a few too many thousand wasted eBaying" lol I only listened to it for Ab-Soul, it's decent. If you're looking for any more smoking music, Curren$y is the man www.hotnewhiphop.com/bill-camp-fire-feat-mac-miller-ab-soul-prod-by-larry-fisherman-new-song.1873979.html

I listen to stuff like Nirvana, Weird Al Yankovic, Hironobu Kageyama, Papa Roach, Queen, Black Sabbath, Thin Lizzy, Audioslave, Rory Gallagher, Soundgarden and many others so I'm in to most genres.
