Well, from my years of customizing, there's only two options when it comes to gluing joints. Super glue works on some, and epoxy works on others. I'd try super glue first, and if that works, then you're done.

Yeah super glue did not work. I glued it back the peg back onto the ball joint but it is so small and delicate after it dried I tried attaching a hand to it it just broke off again immediately. Bluefin has such a strict replacement policy I don't know if they would accept my issue. Really sucks no one offers spare sh figuarts parts for sale. I can't believe that I just wasted $50 on this, it's unacceptable! What am I supposed to do just buy another one and risk the same issue again? My friend suggested that I just have "the one handed Sailor Moon!" but I'm like uhhhh no thanks...

Super glue very rarely works on hard plastics, but us such an easier option than epoxy, that it is with trying first. Epoxy should work, as it is what I use to fix broken articulation on my Irwin and Jakks figures. You have to hold the two pieces together for 5 minutes which sucks though.

Ok. I guess that's what I'll try next.

Couple of things could happen...you could apply the slippery epoxy liquid to the tiny joint and hold it in an absolutely perfect position just long enough for the joint to repair properly and the figure will be good as new...or the liquid could spill into the swivel portion of the joint and you could permanently lose the up/down wrist movement. I hate to say it but I don't think there's anyway to fix the joint. You could try to make a copy of the other hand joint that isn't broken but chances are that would work either, a copied joint wouldn't have any swivel movement and may not fit the hands properly.

Epoxy has the consistency of thick honey when it is mixed, so it isn't so bad. I mix it with a toothpick on a disposable plastic plate (same one I put my paint on), and I use a tooth pick for mixing it. just a tiny amount should be mixed and hopefully you'll be able to get it on there pretty easily using the tooth pick.

I got to chime back in with maybe looking at getting an exchange from the anime shop you bought it from.

I received my SH Figuarts Trunks and boy he looks awesome. Is probably my favorite so far. I also got SDCC Piccolo, but I'm very dissapointed with the figure. Don't get me wrong, his paint job and sculpt is awesome, but I have 2 gripes and just wanted to share with you guys to see if that happened to you too and help me solve. -Just like Gohan said on the first post of this thread, putting his head when he has the cape on is very difficult and I'm afraid it might break easily. Also whenever is placed, it falls off very easily so I have to put it over and over again - My biggest gripe are his arms; either the crossed ones or the regular ones. They just won't stick to the damn figure; if I move them they fall off almost immediately making it difficult to pose him. What would you recommend for this? I have no idea Thanks guys!

Look at my review Ouch, I think yours might be the only one with that? Might be an actual defect, did you buy him new or loose? Wonder who else has a SS3 Goku, I think @aussiedcfan recently got one. I wonder if his has the same problem? I saw this review and to this day it is the only ssj3 goku with hair that just falls.

I recall someone saying they had the same issue as goshin, I think it was in this thread as well. juanjorman yeah putting the head on when he has a cape is a pain. Good thing I have both versions(SDCC/Manga) so I have one with a cape and the other without it. I don't think you can break the leg when he has the cape on since it can barely go in when it's on. As for the arms I find they're tough to put on on any figure, I guess it's the way you put it though. Sometimes it goes in without any issue, and other times they give me problems. Either way I think they're worth it. Also Q, does your trunks have squeaky leg joints? The peg/joint of the hip?

Thanks for the tip Gohan. As for my Trunks, surprisingly everything looks great. Joints are wonderful on that figure (no squeaky leg joints nor on the hip), they work just fine. Krillin's joints are awesome too; Piccolo is the one I had problems with. Waiting Cell in the mail, hopefully he'll rock too.

Not much of a tip but yeah haha. Cell will probably become your favorite when you get him, great figure! Also it seems piccolo has one leg longer than the other.... Or maybe it's just mine? He seems to... Slant? When I stand him upright.

I think the SDCC Piccolo might suffer from mold degradation like the SDCC Gohan and that is causing the joint problems.

Piccolo's arms fall off just like that? Please no. I already ordered that guy.
